In the other topic most people had avast I don't so i'm hoping there is another solution to the problem.

What antivirus software are you using?

I'm using nortons.

Set an exception in norton for the ragnarok clients (ragexe.exe for renewal servers, clragexe.exe for classic). Norton gets a false positive from RO and causes a crash on startup.
