Curious as to what series' people are watching. The BBC has been great at putting their shows new and old onto Netflix, so I have been reveling in some rich British accents and sharp writing this year. UK TV talk please.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSXiAk1EU2I
Currently watching:

Dr. Who (new and classic), Doc Martin, Sherlock, Rosemary and Thyme, UK Kitchen Nightmares, Red Dwarf

Loved:

Poirot, Gerry Anderson's U.F.O. , Brass Eye, The Day Today, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, the IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh,

Any good series to recommend?

I just got to the end of the Master Arc, very excited to see what's next. Going to set up a proper BBC TV thread up here.

Ugh that new master was way too cartoonish in the last arc, not a big fan of the 10th run except for a few chapters, 9th was awesome, too bad we only got one "season" with him. 11th is fun but sometimes is a hit or miss.

Dinosaurs on a spaceship is one of the new chapters in the 11th doctor run, but since you are still 2 seasons behind, i wont spoiled it

Yeah, I did like Eccleston's very different take on the doctor. Very eccentric, but hiding some serious PTSD. I wish more of the classic 4th doctor episodes were on Netflix, I remember reruns of the show being aired on PBS in the late 80s and think that he was the one that was on the show back then.

Ah the BBC.
It brings back fond memories. In the Olden days, we only had 3 Tv Channels. One of those, was the BBC.

Unsure, if these are all on Netflix...
I recommend Torchwood, Merlin, Robin Hood.

I dunno if Downtown Abbey is BBC, either way its good. Another good one, that i watched on Netflix was the Tudors. It's abit racey in parts.

Last but not least, i would not be a true Geordie, to not recommend, all of the Catherine Cooksons on Netflix. Not really a series, just more like short stories in two parts.

Finished off the nuWho series on Netflix, I think it's just to the end of the third season. Working through Torchwood, kind of like an English X-Files, which I can appreciate.

Sherlock continues to impress, just watched the 'Hounds of the Baskervilles' episode, a very seamless job in updating classic Sherlock stories for modern times!

2 words. Top.... Gear

I like Once Upon a Time, but sometimes it suffers from ABC writer's block and brings us a subpar episode with roots from daytime Soap Operas. Emma and Snow White have been getting more annoying.

I've heard nothing but good things about it, though as someone who is not a huge "car guy" should I just watch the gumball rally videos instead?

What with Skyfall being as good as it is, it does seem like British culture stuff is really hot right now.
