Ok so I finished letting the client patch but once I clicked start the client just closed out. Can anyone help me solve this problem? I've already tried running as admin and it's having no effect.
Renewal not starting up at all.

What antivirus program are you using?
Many antivirus programs get a false positive from RO now, and you need to set an exception/whitelist for RO (ragexe.exe and clragexe.exe ). Some of them will make the client grav error right after starting, and others will just make the client vanish without a trace with no error reported anywhere.

Huh?
Your problem is Avast. You need to set an exception or whitelist (don't know what term Avast uses), so it won't interfere with RO. Consult the Avast documentation for information on how to do this (I do not own a copy of Avast, so I cannot provide any specific instructions)
