heres the dilemma. On windows 7
ive tried many solution such as Run as administrator, reinstalling, recognizing rageex, clrage as safe programs on anti-virus and even disable all my anti- virus and it still refuses to start up after i patch RO.i dont have avast The fartherst i've been was like:

You need to give your RO directory full access. In Windowx 7, software directories are set to Read Only. You need to uncheck this.

Woah, exception type c0000096? That's a weird one.

You say you don't have avast - what antivirus do you have? Does RO still fail if you disable it temporarily?

It's weird it took me one try on my PC which has NOD/comodo but my laptop has MAL/NOD/comodo, I've tried unchecking the read only files in the directory, no good. there seem to be a notice maybe theres something wrong with my windows which is not allowing it to work

i finally fixed it x_x it seems there was something wrong with my RCX if anyone might have this problem check on this site:
