Read through your guide its coming along nicely, but I believe you should also mention that Comet costs 2 Red Gemstones per cast as well.

Oh.....that's the formula for slots for freezing spell? so the one in irowiki is wrong?

During the Balance Patch Freezing Spell was changed from:
Slots = (4+4*Freezing Spell Lv) + floor(BLv/15) + floor(Int/10)
to
Slots = (4 * Freezing Spell Level) + floor(Base Level/10) + floor(INT/10)

Yes currently the irowiki formula for Freezing Spell is incorrect.

He provides a link for the Balance Patch formulas where he got his information from.

While Kaahi is incredible and it was great for my Warlock, it's a major SP burner. I wouldn't advise it unless you can afford SP supplies. I was rather well-geared (no +10s/gods but everything else was great), and Nogg2 was a massive SP drain. Thankfully Dally Quen when he was around gave Blue Potions like crazy, so I didn't spend much, but still.

I would advise Jack Frost as soon as you can. It completely obsoletes any level of SG due to it always freezing, no knockback and massive AoE. Very good defensive skill for party play and soloing.

Good tip: Jack Frost then Crimson Rock will allow you to hurt Fire-type monsters, as is how I'd advise training at Nogg2.

Hmm, for the equips...

As of now, the RWC Pins, RWC Memory staff and RWC Accessory (2x pendants or set with ring)
Headgear: Redpom for Demihuman resist (Rachel Sanct, Biolabs)
Mid Head: Black Frame Glasses (pricey), Robo Eye (cheaper option)

Gears you forgot to mention that are helpful in PvM include:

Mid Headgear
Black Devil's Mask - You can never go wrong with All Stats +2

Shield
Round Buckler - Great with Racial Cards e.x. Thara Frog, Bigfoot Card, ect... This shield provides a great deal of Defense while maintaining a moderate to low Weight.

Accessory
Buwaya Agimat Tattoo - An end game Accessory that provides an amazing 7% Matk & -7% Fixed Cast time. This Accessory is not easily obtained and is easily one of the most expensive Accessories in the game for Warlock.

@Nero89

The RWC Accessories will be leaving soon. So adding them to the guide would probably only lead to confusion for players reading the guide at a later date.

I had Storm Gust on there for damagewise and not for freezing, Storm Gust 10 does a lot of damage to boss/unread and other monsters that cannot be frozen. For example, during TIs with Thor monsters such as Kasa, I would store and release SG, doing more damage with AoE than say, Jack Frost. But I do agree that Jack Frost is amazing as a defensive skill as well as using it to freeze targets.

Going to add the extra PvM gears!

Your VIT is way too high for all levels... a waste of points IMO.

Get first INT up to 115 and then complement with LUK, DEX and lastly VIT.

99-112 -> Ice Dungeon. That's the easiest map you ever see... chain lightning/JT is your bff... also, it's cast time is way faster than regular AoE's.

112-130 -> Juperos

130-140 -> Rachel Sanctuary

140-150 -> Biolabs. You can even solo here lv.2 and lv.3 if you have experience with SW and such... easy to get 150 and you can use WoE equipment as well.

Kaahi is quite useful if you don't mind using blue pots... I level on Juperos using Kaahi all my way up to 130.

You forgot immune shields in gears. I'm pretty sure those will be rereleased over and over again.

Kinda depends on the VIT portion, you need the VIT if you're not leveling with Kaahi since the monsters at juperos do inflict stun.

About Biolabs, is the irowiki database description wrong? It says that the effects only apply in WoE & PvP zones, which is why I didn't include it.
Never thought of Ice Dungeon as a possibility to level at, but I suppose it would be great with Chain Lightning or Jupitel Thunder.

Would something like this be more suited for stat progression?

By level 100 you may have something like this:
110 INT
84 DEX
23 VIT

By level 105:
114 INT
84 DEX
23 VIT

By level 110:
115 INT
84 DEX
45 VIT

By level 115:
115 INT
84 DEX
45 VIT
35 LUK

By level 120:
115 INT
84 DEX
45 VIT
57 LUK

By level 125:
115 INT
85 DEX
45 VIT
71 LUK

By level 130:
115 INT
94 DEX
45 VIT
75 LUK

By level 135:
115 INT
94 DEX
50 VIT
86 LUK

By level 140:
115 INT
94 DEX
67 VIT
86 LUK

By level 145:
115 INT
94 DEX
83 VIT
86 LUK

By level 150:
115 INT
94 DEX
96 VIT
86 LUK

Adding Immune Shield to the list as well as other things I forgot!

I believe Wizard is referring to the Glorious Destruction Staff and Glorious Set.

Well, warlocks don't have that great of a HP pool anyways but personally I'd recommend the stat distribution in the guide with the 46 VIT, 84 DEX, 104 INT at level 100. However, that's only if you don't have Kaahi. If you plan on leveling with Kaahi then I'd recommend the high INT and low VIT, since HP doesn't really matter when leveling with Kaahi.

You do still need HP with Kaahi, otherwise you'll just get OHKOed by high-damage single-target attacks (like the strong Fire attacks in Nogg2). That and if you're at Juperos you'll need VIT or you'll just get stunned all the time.

There's never really a good reason to go with no/little VIT.

One shotted in Nogg 2? I never used a fire armor back when I used to solo'd there so I imagine every one else may be able to pull it off?

Anyway, you usually go for more INT first so you can actually 1 shot mobs before they even hit you. SW is your bff.

I can achieve that with frog hat, flame glove and two pingicula crimson staff without int food, so maybe it doesn't worth wasting many mora coins to create one...

Question: With release/reading spell book -- does it always store the spell at the highest level you know? (I apologize if this has been answered).

Cool beans, thanks for the confirmation.

Edit: Quick way to get some experience when you first change.

1st job level -- just grind it out, only 100k.

2nd and 3rd job level -- eden board quests (rachel is easy, should get you 2 job levels)

Get Release 1 and Reading Spellbook -- buy SG book.

Read 2, warp around in lower TI until you see a giant mob -- release, warp way. Should be an easy few levels and faster than actually partying.

Note: this assumes you have carrot hat or pumpkin hat or some cheap healing you can spam.

May I ask if combo of Misty + Jack Frost still doing good for now?

back in day before mora come i saw my friend mobbing in rachel/desert wolf with that

Misty + Jack + Chain Lightning(SoulDrain)/Drain Life

with that setup was easy leveling without worry about HP/SP
