For the people using Norton Internet Security 2013 - like me - having the same problem starting into Ragnarok Online:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: Ragexe.exe
Application Version: 0.0.0.0
Application Timestampl: 50298ee5
Fault Module Name: Ragexe.exe
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 50298ee5
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 00588de1
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1031
Additional Information 1: 0a9e
Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
Additional Information 3: 0a9e
Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

I have a similiar solution like the solution already given above for the AVAST users:
Exclude the Ragnarok game folder from "Sonar, Insight and Auto-Protect" in your Norton Internet Security settings, then it seems to work.
But maybe someone from Gravity could give me some information why the new client does not work with different anti virus scanners and firewalls?
This shouldn't be understood as an insult, I'm just curious about the situation
