I'm not sure if its something new I have to do. I stopped playing for a few months and just recently wanted to try to play it again. But now I'm having the problem of my ragnarok not starting up at all. It can patch and it does download all the current patches from what I can see. I've even tried running it as adminstrator. I've also re-installed it about 3 times. I am using Windows 7 on a Sony Vaio. I'm not sure if this helps but if anyone knows what might be causing it to not start up at all please let me know. Thanks.

Are you running any antivirus? I know the update that added RO's replay functionality causes Avast's "behavior shield" to prevent RO from launching after the patcher.

My antivirus has recently expired so I know that it is not on, also went into control panel and turned off my firewall. No luck still...

Don't most AV programs keep running with the old definitions when the subscription expires?

oh-em-gee, I had webroot and I just completely uninstalled it. Now it works haha thanks guys
