frost nova don't work on them. since they don't seem to have a crazy high mdef, and definitely not undead, I assumed so.

hmm that unidentified fish quest seems still bugged too or i don't get it

i gave the npc 30 fish and he says he set me on a list, then there was a count of 29 instead if 30 in the dialog
so i collect another 30 to test something
ok so the dialog count was 28 after giving the npc the 30 fishs
so i collected 740 unidentified fish but after giving them to the npc the count was 24, not 0
ok i tried it with another 30 unidentified fishs and the count was 30 again x_X
maybe i just don't get it xD
everyone get some rewards there ?

The count it says you need is how many you need in addition to the number in your inventory. So if you have 6 left over after turning them in, it'll say you need 24 more.

Not sure what you're trying to say. It's an instanced dungeon, as many parties as want to can do it at any given time, and I had no trouble getting back in.

As i've said numerous times, I have not a damned clue. There is no information available regarding how much fish must be given nor what the rewards, if any, might be.

Does it give rewards after a certain length of time? Does it require a certain number of donations? Nobody knows.

Guys, is the Octopus Cave working for now? It seems it forces my client to shut down and displays null messages along with some random symbols on it and when logging back it spawns me back at save point then if i try to go back to that cave, it crashes again.

You missed a patch.

Force a repatch by downloading the most recent archive from http://drazzy.com/patch, extract, and replace the patch.inf in your RO folder with the one from that archive, then restart your RO client, and it will reattempt to get the necessary patch.

The latest one. Unless you want to wait longer while the client applies patches that it doesn't need to.

Those files just force the client to (re)download all patches after the date listed in the name of the archive.

I did the quest with a party. Killed the mvp and all mobs there on easy but did not get Seagods Anger.

Why is that? It says no kill count. =/

I got it! I managed to kill this giant octopus without dying on my ranger, but i got nothing from this octopus, is there a good reward from killing this?

Did you pick up the quest?

There are two different ceolacanths that can spawn on each mode, and your quest is for a random one, and I think the one that spawns is random as well. We got Mutant twice in a row on hard, when most of us needed Cruel. Gonna try again tonight.

He drops assorted coin bags, white potion 100 box (lol - see, you use those for your next octopus run, to save money), and high weapon box at ~5%. He's not terribly rewarding, but he's pretty easy to kill so...

But i don't know how to do it and don't know how to use it

I just did the Normal Mode culverts: Finished with 0 seaweeds spawning, got Glommy Ceolacanth, took a while to beat him. It seems he takes 1 damage from all melee attacks which is kinda... eh. Got a few poor coin bag, one A grade bag, and a few SP cans. We didn't really get that many loots around the cave upon beating it.
