In the menu under the characters HP, the "REC" option is missing. Is this a problem with the client or my computer?

I've had the same issue for a while now as well. No idea why. All my friends have the button.

Because you used the old client because you were having crash-on-start issues with the august client, right?

This is a problem for the developers.

The GMs are aware that the replay feature is not currently available in the client. My understanding was that it was removed intentionally due to difficulty making it work on all systems - it think it may have been responsible for some of the problems players have been experiencing since the august update.

Oooh, okay, that makes more sense. I asked a few of my friends, and some of them installed iRO in another server's folder, which is why they have the button to begin with. Thanks for the reply.

I still see the replay button on the patch client - but the functionality to support it from game client, including the rec button, is missing. I bet your friends think you mean the replay button on patch client, not the rec button in game.

That said, installing iRO in the same folder as any other RO installation is a recipe for client data corruption. It's a really really bad thing to do, and if they asked for help on the forums when the inevitable happened and one or both clients stopped working, nobody would imagine that they had done that.
