I just bought a wedding dress with my male merchant, and I can put it on (with no visual change). Also, I bought a tuxedo and it appears as an etc (so I can't wear it). I attach a screenshot of the tuxedoPosted Image

They don't work that way. You have to get married for it to be visible or use a consumable bought in jawaii to put it on any other time for 30mins (must be married to use).

And since when did this change? I've been a few years without playing, and I thought that you had to wear them in order to get married. Also, I still don't get the reason for the female dress being an armor, and the tuxedo being an etc item.

In addition, I'm not supposed to be able to wear a Wedding dress... I dont have the screen for that, but I can assure you: I can transvestite

The marriage system was changed during Renewal. Sadly you can no longer equip Tuxedo or Wedding Dress, although; it was fun when you could.

You can still equip wedding dress... it never had a sprite until you get married

Well, thanks... I'm very disappointed with Renewal, then. Tuxedo-looking characters were cool. If anyone can erase this topic... Thanks again.

You never could just put them on(at least as long as I've played which is like 6-7 years)... I don't know what you're talking about.

I played before Renewal I could equip it on my Scholar and have fun walking around in it even though I was not married back before the Ymir merge when I was still on Loki Server.

You all are coming up with these memories the same way people come up with alien abduction stories.

Tuxedo was always etc type and was never equippable.

Wedding dress was always equippable (and people did wear them, back in the day, for the mdef - though I don't think these were top tier players wearing it), but it never changed your sprite.

The only ways to make your character look like they just married are to either get married (inflicted with slow walk status for 1 hr iirc), or to use the item Sweet Memory of Marriage, a consumable item available on Jawaii for 200k which changes your sprite to the just married one.

They are not char or account bound. If you were ever changing into marriage sprite when not married, or when married for fun, this is how you were doing it. Not putting on a wedding dress or tuxedo.

(As an aside, you can't use skills while in that sprite, because there are no animation sprites for doing anything other than walking or sitting. So they block skill use to deal with that).

It's amazing how people confuse their memories.

Well, I don't have my old, old, old screenshots, but I'm not talking about the official servers. I've equipped it, and some other people might have done it as well. I didn't know that in the official Ragnarok it had been always like that, I just assumed that, since in every private game I've been it was like I'm telling you, Gravity's wouldn't be any different
