i try it on +9 erde ea 9 with +9 RTE it was higher if i learn sword max but no sure if +12

With temporal boot coming in, just wondering which would give more AcidBomb damage,
lets say between +9 STR Temporal Boots FS7 and +9 STR Temporal Boots EA4.

It's a pretty decent chunk of damage extra with +12 vs +9 RTE, nothing like, mind blowing, but a good amount of damage that would help you compete. Were you testing CC or AB? AKs usually influence CC more while remaining about the same as AS when bombing.....do you and your friend have diff stat builds/other gears? If so, please list the gears and I'll attempt to come up with a reason, then Azzy can chime in and explain it better than me XD

It's definitely going to be something with the atk/matk mods versus ranged mods and how each would be effected by additional range modifiers/race modifiers. I think Azzy would be best to answer on this as to the specific reason for the damage differences. Sorry, don't wanna be guessing anything too much :X

Okay, so I've have read this thread a couple of times now. However, I still have questions that some of you might be able to answer.
I think it's clear that HF wins on damage for large/medium MvPs for overall damage.
What I am still confused about is One Handed weapons and their respective cards.
Please let me know where I'm wrong, I just started playing the Gen class roughly 2 weeks ago.
From what I understood the following are currently the best one hand weapons solely for MvPing purposes,
Keep in mind, I am talking about Acid Bomb damage.
Small Sized - Byeollungum (EA5/5)
Medium Sized - Erde (EA5/5) (AK*2)
Large Sized - Erde (EA5/5) (AK*2)
My question now, with the future Red Twin (EA) update, will it be better and the above mentioned equips (Not HF) in terms of damages on MvPs?
I know several suggest Red Twin *3AS as a starting overall weapon. But, I'm past that, I'm concerned about equips that only matter when I am killing MvPs.
Some people have also told me that AS does more damage than AK cards on Red Twin/Erde, even on MvPs. I'm not sure if that is correct. Could someone please enlighten me on that as well?
Also, wanted to put this out there, how does a Gen survive an EQ (Valk/Ifrit) without owning a GTB. I've been playing around with castling for a while but I'm wondering if there are other ways to do so.
For Ifirt, will DR (HBP) + Fire Amor + HP Increase at 150, help me survive an EQ?

Ah, the bonus from the Erde only applys to the 2nd job skill 'Bomb' and not 'Acid Bomb' (the one that looks like a flaming X on the ground) so it's not worth it to compare that aspect. However, the +10% healing i think it i, does apply to potion pitcher =O

KVM MS is the end-all of demi-human genetic weapons. +12 GMS hits about as hard as a +12 EA10 HF to bios
(330k bomb to cenia, 320k bomb to high-priest, 100k+ CC's to Scholar)

I think your HF will bomb harder and the mace with FE harder. There is a wild gap in damage between +9>12 KVM. If I had a +14 kvm......oh my.
I think even a +9 was pretty sweet for CCing in Bios I remember. I used one for awhile.
