Seems like I do about 40k without it, 60k with it based on a video from awhile back. So more like 50%

Other modifers like +ATK and +% ATK change the equation too like mentioned above.
Also you get some weirdness with the Fire Endow portion.

my Potter used a Doom Slayer, without pyro was doing about 13k+ to the Petals and 17k+ with pyro. So it added about 30%.

PK helps more against physical attacks, since it's a flat reduction. GA helps versus burst damage skills. So, say vs Bakonawa without any dragon/boss reductions - his crit attack does 23k damage, with GA it would do 20.7k, while PK it would do 22.2k.
PK usually is best defense wise, as damage has to be really crazy for GA to reduce it by a significant amount.
Others can chime in though, I am not 100% sure of when GA takes effect - but PK I am fairly sure is applied last, after all other reductions

I noticed you kept saying 2x EA5 instad of EA10. Does it matter if it's EA4/EA6?
I'm not sure how damage is actually calculated from weapon enchants.

There's no difference in damage, it's just more likely to get 2x EA5 than getting a single EA6.

I want to know when we are getting the enchant for the RTE. I picked up and +9d a Airship hat and +9 Aby knight helm, but I can't decide on cards. I have a +12 EA8 HF as well as a +12 RTE and I'm finding it very enlightening figuring out which MVPs to use which one against. I haven't found many cases I'd rather use the RTE against over the HF, but there are a few. I've also had issues deciding on a Homun. Thus far I've forgone getting one, just because I can't decide if I'd rather have Sera or Dieter. My guild is picking up pretty heavily on ET runs so it would probably be a good idea for me to make up my mind and grind it out. My biggest problem lies that I've put more Z into the Sura than the Gen, so to balance it out I'm making someone other than my Sura do the tanking.

One handed weapons are more for solo situations where you're also tanking the MVP at the same time and need a shield.
Nobody knows when we're getting the enchant. Make a nice Erde if you want something to use right now.

In large guild party ETs, you probably rarely need to use a twin edge or a one handed weapon, because someone else is tanking. For strong AOEs, you can usually use just the right elemental armor and that will take care of it.

I actually just sold my +12 Erde (2x AK) EA10...didn't even compare in dmg to the HF, and the RTE was doing nearly the same (4-5k difference) with AB. CC is a whole other ballgame.

So in guild type situations (i.e. a tank), a HF is looking better than an Erde?

woops. Physical set is best for CC damage at low lvls. I'm not sure about armor though.

the physical set is 3 pieces
the kingsbird set is only 2 piece. leaving another spot open for a Shadow Magical earring and the 3% reduction in cast time.

why is it better than a carga mace? (at first glance, it has higher atk and a more versatile weapon, dealing 100% to large monsters)

Lv4 weapon has higher +atk/matk per refine and a higher damage variance, the added card slot pushes it way over. Carga is pretty meh for Genetics, but can be pretty cheap if funds are tight.
