A few people have reported that error even when opening a second client immediately after the first. Patching classic client may fix this.

1) Close all clients. Open one client, allow it to patch, start the game, and then open another.
2) Close all clients. Open classic client, let it patch. Start client, and exit it. Then start normal client patcher, let it patch, start game, then open more clients.
This doesn't matter. patch2.txt doesn't tell you whether the patch has been successfully applied. So the failed to write file could be coming from the game trying to apply that last patch, but being unable to because you had another client open. The most recently applied patch is in patch.inf, but you need a hex editor to view it.in my patch 2 it says : 2154 2012-12-10data_gm_desc.gpf which is the last patch i got

After uninstalling and reinstalling the game thrice, I do not know what a lame user could do with the problems, especially with the clienting related 1.. Do you have any ideas?

Can you specify the exact error message(s) received?
A sprite error has a distinct cause that is unrelated to dual clienting (missed patches, which happen more often now due to a bug in the patcher introduced in late august)

Hello MekoBilly,I would be more dpecific, but not able to insert picture.
How can I attach/insert a screenshot?
the fastest solution would be to use a imageuploading service like imageshack.us and to link us the screenshot here.
You can add picutres to your posts (if they are already uploaded somewhere else) if you add around the url of the image.

Trying to be better this time. Getting this message, after the client crashes /actually, part of the whole message hopefully helps to identify the source of problems/:

while I'm glad I could help you with my post, I kind of screwed up xD
I meant you can display images directly if you add ["img"] in front and ["/img"] at the back of the URL to the image, just without the " (I left the " out and because of that, that part didn't show, I'm sorry xD)
Greetings
