Just wondering if it's my fault or the server's fault. I tried to log in sakray earlier but I'm getting failed connections when I try to log in with my characters.

Sakray is a test server.

It isn't maintained in working order when there is no content being tested, nor USRC/RWC taking place.

They probably want to discourage people from playing it as their main server.

One of the issues we have is that there are a lot of people who don't play on iRO nor ever intend to using it as their personal playgrounds and not for testing...

You couldn't anyway, sakray doesn't have any means to increase loyalty (because there isn't one - when we were testing stuff when homun S came, heim was manually editing the database to get us the loyalty...)

Ah this is disappointing.

I have quite a few builds I want to test still, but seeing how Sakray has been down these past few weeks or longer, it's a bit difficult impossible. Normally, I'd just use a character simulator, and indeed, that's where I do the initial planning of a build, but I like to test out the final build on Sakray where I can get a feel for it by playing it, seeing how the skills feel, and sticking various gears on it.

One of the issues we have is that there are a lot of people who don't play on iRO nor ever intend to using it as their personal playgrounds and not for testing...

Nevertheless, you should bring it online every once in a while. I think the playerbase (and by that I mean the people who are actually spending money on the game) deserves a place to test things out. Perhaps you can bring it online each weekend for 48 hours, and then reset it and turn it off for the rest of the week? That may help deter outsiders who are treating it like a playground, if that's your issue, Oda. Or require that an account be VIP subscribed in order to login to it. That would stop the moochers too.

Either way, I'm not going to throw my cash at reset stones and neuralizers, just to test builds, so if that's your evil scheme, then I'm not going to fall for it, lol. =P I'll spend the money on things other than WPE.
