As many of you are aware, the servers have not been performing very well of late.

We believe we have identified several of the contributing factors, which are both hardware and software related on various levels of operation for the ROSE game servers.

Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 10:00am (-8 UTC) we will be bringing down all ROSE servers for an extended server maintenance.

This maintenance will be physically upgrading some of our game servers to help improve performance.

The current expectation is up to 3 hours at minimum of down time. The reason why we are starting this maintenance so early, is in the event something goes wrong, which has been estimated to be anywhere from 6-8, at worst.

We are eagerly awaiting for this maintenance as we would very much like to see everything return back to normal. We thank each and every one of you for having the patience and understanding while we have been hastily trying to determine and address the recent server issues.

Ohh,god.Its ok I'll wait and 3hrs as said.
This will be enough time to fix loggin prob and storage prob.Or bugg how you guys call.It doesn't matter,the most important its to fix it

In all seriousness, I really do hope this does fix the problems, and take as long as you need, I'm willing to wait all day as long as the servers are working the right way.

They said it will take 3 hours minimum (http://mmoserverstatus.com/) we are just at 172minutes atm.
It can take up to 3-8 hours you will never know.

If they had it all done in 3 hours, the server still has to boot and that can take a while since it is the first time, you never know.

Updates will happen as needed.

They are working hard on the servers. Server hardware and software changes are not like you PC, there are alot of configuration stuff that has to happen.

It is only 2:30pm PST now. They will update us as they know more.
