Hi ive recently decided to start farming kings to make some cash but im not too sure on what class to use?

Ive read and heard that raiders are the most recommended for king farming, but how about scouts?

It really depends on what kings/giants you are going for and what you are farming. If you are farming for drops that is a material then you need to use a bourgeois because of stockpile, if you are farming for item such as Epic which stockpile does not work on, you need to use a champion.

There are some cases where cloaking do not work on boss, such as grand goblin king, if you attack him with cloaking, the boss will just spam AOE like mad and you get hurt.

The first thing you need to have, is a cleric to buff, you would need a cleric friend to help you or you dual client and buff yourself. If you are going to farm a drop that is material (medallions/catalyst/chemicals), then use bourgeois. If you are going to farm a drop that is an item (jeweleries, epic weapon), use a champion or mage if you can handle.

Battle clerics, Raiders and scouts are the classes that you can kill kings without using food.

You have to tell me what you are going to farm.

i plan to maybe hunt Pomic Kings or Kings at DoD for epic weapons.

So a champ works too? but a champ will need a lot of food right?

No epics drop from any Kings in anima lake or DoD only uniques.

Epics currently drop from the higher level monsters such as:

Cursed Ent Vagabond ( eldeon, outside sikuku prison )
Grand Master devourer ( orlo, wasteland ruins path )
Grand Fiery Snapper ( orlo, wasteland ruins path )
Scorpian King ( orlo, wasteland ruins path, gates of muris )
Crowned asper King ( orlo, wasteland south, wasteland east )
Prehistoric Mastyx King ( orlo, wasteland east )
Fearsome Terrasaurus King ( orlo, gates of muris )

The lower level Kings such as:
Grunter King
Aqua King
Master Queen BiBi
Moldie Manager

All drop Unique weapons.

A good farmer for:


Grand Goblin Kings: Bourg lvl 100 with stockpile lvl 9 ( distance attack needed due to the aoe of the GG king )

Grunter King : Hawker ( katars ) or Soldier ( 2 hand sword or Axe )lvl 50 with some AP gear

To find the King spawns, simply go to the wiki page, at the top right, search for the map your on ( i.e Anima Lake ), scroll down and you will see a Key numbered 1,2,3 ect, simply x ref the key to the Color / number coded map on the right to find where the king spawns.

There is more, Most of the information can be found from Here, Be careful though as the information on the compendium is a little out of date ( monster levels, exp gain locations ), however, for drop information it's o.k, Not 100% accurate, but pretty close.

Just search for King or search for the monsters name in the search box, click on the monster then you can view the available drops on the left hand side.
