Christmas Event!
Happy holidays everyone! Today starts the Christmas event in the world of ROSE Online. Visit Santa on his own planet! Speak to [Event Info] Judy for information on all the fun things you can do!
The holiday event will run from December 13th through to January 3rd.
Additionally during this period, Premium Account users are in for a special treat. The daily box has been given two special costume boxes that you can get by chance upon redemption. To help increase your chances, we've also reduced the time between being able to collect on the 'daily box' from once a day to once every 8 hours! You still need to be logged in for at least one hour in order to become eligible to collect the box, but you only need to wait 8 hours between collection.
Item Mall
Our Item Mall and Lucky Spin have been updated with some great new items.
In our Lucky Spin, we've added 3 new costumes, the Festive Christmas Outfit, Snowman Costume and Rudolph Costume along with some past holiday back items including the Penguin Backpack, Roserian Skis and Gingerbread Man with a special chance at one of our new Permanent Reindeer or Angry Reindeer mounts!
In the spirit of the holidays, all the Lucky Spin costumes for this period will be free to trade so you can give them as gifts and share the joy of dressing in your favorite costumes and outfits!
New in the Item Mall are the Reindeer or Angry Reindeer mounts, offered in the 3 ways: 7 Day, 30 day and permanent.
Also, we've included an old favorite, the Blue Santa Costume, offered as a full set for a new look, from the days of old.
The Christmas Cart is also being offered as a package this year at a discounted rate for the full cart.
So deck the halls, suit up and spread the joy by joining us in this wonderful season and welcoming the new year!
Game Arena
The queuing system lock up has been resolved!
After a lot of time and effort, we finally managed to reproduce the cause of the queue getting stuck and located the issue. After a full night of stress testing with the fix to ensure that the cause could no longer be reproduced, we are happy to see that not once did it occur.

A number of changes have been made to alleviate the latency issue, so let's hope for the best!Did you fix the horrendous lag issues in game arena?

would have been cool if patchnotes included prices, but meh.

It was a hard decision not to add anything "new" to the Christmas event this year, but we really saw the grief the Game Arena's issue was causing and decided it was better to focus on fixing that first. I know it is a poor excuse, but it is the reality of why there isn't anything new of note to the Christmas Event this year. We've been doing a lot of back end work to help the long term process of improving game content that you will begin to see in the coming days that have extended our reach of creativity and possibilities.Thats sweet and all Leo

Now that the Game Arena's issue is fixed, we will be able to turn back towards features, content and more of the fun stuff we know you all enjoy.
There have been several improvements made to what we've seen to be small contributors to latency in-game since the last few updates trying to resolve the Game Arena's issue. We're looking forward to the feedback of the improvements in hopes they are notable and help ease the complaints of the feeling of sluggish game play.Glad to hear, I hope the lag issues are going to disappear too. Any chance you guys could change your minds on making dungeons just once a day for all of us poor people?

How come the account bound on Vintage Set got lifted while its still active on the cowboy and indian Sets? ;l

The trade restrictions were lifted on the costumes in the spirit of the holiday season. I would anticipate over time other costumes will also be released from trade restrictions as well. Give it time.@Leo
How come the account bound on Vintage Set got lifted while its still active on the cowboy and indian Sets? ;l

We'll be restarting the server in a moment to fix this.Just wanted to point out, the skis, penguin backpack, and gingerbread man do not appear in the menu to spin for on lucky spin.

Its unacceptable that you'll just throw patches like that without checking every small detail you changed.
I spent most of my Lucky Spin coins I had left trying to get those backshields and now your telling me you'll fix it?
