Asian culture is much different. Living with your parents past 18. The parents support their kids until they succeed and the children pay it back by taking care of them. I understand a bit why my family disagrees with the US way of living and hold on to their pride and tradition. No discipline will end up in chaos. I'm not 100% on their side,but they make good points.

Yeah,the US has too much support. But I like to take things from two different lifestyles and correct each flaw in the upbringing of a child. It'll become in sync and you won't have to be too strict or let your kids have too much freedom and rights. My family doesn't help me personally,they tell me to go ask my teacher or figure on my own. They expect me to know,despite not being taught. I do feel rather abandoned and hopeless,but I see they want me to be a man and take it.
