So after my long break due to exams, im thinking of returning
i have tried a few times previously but everytime, the bad server conditions turn me off.
this time, when i try to log in, all my characters are gone, my 150 gen and my 142 sura and all my equipments.
Thanks Gravity...
i dun even know if i should file a ticket because it is a turn-off when u think abt the loading time and the sending time and the extremely long time they take to reply...
Does any1 have this problem too?
Returning and i get -_-....

It's probably a patching error; there's a thread about it over in the other forum. I, and I believe several other people had the same problem. It's not that your characters are gone -- they're just not showing up in your client.

Had the same problem and it was indeed patching error. I had no issues playing at renewal first. Decided to test out classic server and patched the game. After i went back to renewal.. all my chars were gone, but re-installing the game fixed it. There might be easier fix for it.. who knows.

Basically you just have to force a repatch of everything.
Delete the following files:
patch1
patch2
patch_allow
Patch like you normally would from there by patching Renewal client first. Then Classic. Then Renewal again. Make sure the Renewal patcher isn't defaulted to Run as Administrator, but also be sure you patch it by Run as Administrator.

Hello ExDarkrb,
in addition to what GuardianTK already said, please reboot after you are done with the process, as there were people that thought that the process didn't work because they didn't reboot their system, this seems to play an important role as well.
Also, the topic that the people were referring to is this one;
