It doesn't seem all that important early on, but later it becomes pretty game changing to have a higher leveled blacksmith around crafting things for you with their recipes. Unlike the NPC sold weapons and some NPC given armors, the crafted ones and ones that drop from monsters give bonus Stats that can help far more than the raw Stats given by NPC equipment.

Yeah, glad to see Gravity 'gravitate' away from the notion that blacksmiths only craft weapons.
Yes, I know, that was a lame joke.
Or doing ANYTHING at all. Alchies got their slims and later as genetics better potions and those OP foods (I actually haven't played renewal, so excuse me if they aren't THAT useful) while mechanics got nothing. Just the same stuff they've been able since they were introduced plus refining as a whitesmith. Not even katars, bows or new kinds of weapons.

super punchers is cash shop, rocket is what we make. even then its barely worth making rocket punchers. because the mats to make them sometimes more often than not are more valuable than the punchers themselves. 100% true for lower lvl punchers.Considering they make runenhole puchers that allows you slot runes in it...yep...they are vital. Those super punchers can sell for an awfully a lot of money.
