Rogue in the Colo

How do you do it? Best I've done was a fluke and came in 5th place on round 5. Most of the time I have issues getting to round 4 and get a lot of my points from just killing monsters :\ Now I've only recently become a rogue so I'm still missing just about every skill, but looking forward...is there anything to look forward to? I feel like not only can I not catch anyone if they don't want to let me, but I also can't do any real damage outside of the finisher which getting 5 points is a pain in itself, I'm sure it's easier when you have Combo Mastery at 3-5 points, but when this isn't proccing can any of you even do anything? I can't tell you how many times I've done a crit finisher to only hit someone for ~360 damage :\ yes it was parried, but so are most of my attacks in colo.

I really don't want to hear it but I'm sure it's "smoke bomb and dirty plan". Sigh...

Anyways, I'd like to hear from people that consistently make it to round 5 to fill me in on the secret to making it as a rogue in colo.

That does not explain. That is one guy getting lucky as hell and doesn't explain any of the questions I asked.
