Did I mess up? I'm trying to make an assassin but I chose the job blacksmith is that good for assassins? Or should I remake?

Well, you can make yourself some nice weapons, and the rune hole punchers, which are used on blind rune holes for you to be able to place a rune into your gear. If you don't feel like you need those, then re-roll into something else.
