Try a basic fix routine to see if the problem is resolved:
- open the ROSE game launcher
- click the » symbol next to the 'start' button
- select 'check all' and let the process complete
- launch the game and see if the problem is resolved.
if the above hasn't fixed the issue next
- ensure you're running the launcher in administrator mode
- navigate to your ROSE folder
- right click 'TRose.EXE' and make sure it has administrator privileges and is running in Windows XP compatibility mode.
- restart the launcher and repeat the first process.
if neither of these fix your problem, you will need to do a fresh install.
Some mistakes people make in a 'fresh install' fix is using the same installer package you downloaded, which itself may have been corrupted due to data loss during the downloading phase.
follow these steps.
- Uninstall your client via either the control panel, uninstaller, or a 3rd part install manager you may have.
- Delete your previous installer package, so you do not confuse a new copy with the possibly corrupted one.
- Download a fresh installer package.
- Install the game as you normally would, and launch the patcher. Let it patch completely, and before starting your game, perform a check all.
- Now launch your game and see if the problem persists.
If all of the above steps do not fix your issue, then the issue is no longer the client, but some type of compatibility with your PC, hardware interference or software interference.
Also, it's a good idea to 'white list' the launcher and TRose.EXE on any anti virus you have, and turn off your firewall [if on] only while downloading the install package.
Good luck.
