G'day RO2 Community!

Let's get right to the topic. WoE is an important aspect for PvP players in RO2. At present, War of Emperium (WoE) is held every Wednesday and Saturday 17:00 PST.

I know plenty of you have left feedback in the past when change of WoE was made, but much has happened since then and we have grown in number in new regions. For WoE to be accommodating to everyone, it is best to get the community feedback.

If you are unsure how best to write it all down, here are some things need to think about:
  • Which country/region are you from and does the WoE time affect your participation in WoE in overall?
  • Should it be left / changed and why?
  • If it should be changed, when  (day and time) should WoE be?

This is a feedback thread so what you write is up to you but for it to be usable as reference for  Gravity, everyone providing feedback needs to keep to the topic and provide effective constructive feedback.  We are always grateful for the time you take to participate so thank you in advance.

Looking forward to see some great feedback !

Espero encontrar feedbacks maravilhosos!

For Wednesday, somewhere between 0700 to 0900 server time would be great. While the NA could attend before going to work, SEA timezone is midnight, and EU timezone is around afternoon.

As for Sunday, the current timing is a good time. While SEA timezone get to practice waking up early as a healthy habit, it's evening in NA where most people are available. It is also not too late in the midnight for EU. Moving the time forward would mean it's gonna be too late in the midnight for EU and moving it backward would mean too early for SEA.

Having these 2 different timezone as above, both NA and SEA timezone (the majority) could also take turn to participate in the WoE once in the morning and once in the evening/midnight per week, rather than SEA gets to attend both morning WoE while NA gets to attend both evening war. Fair treatment for both region!

I think this is fair but have the days swapped.

NA covers many timezones so it would be difficult to figure out what a best time before work and school is for the majority of them on Wednesdays. I would not touch this day.

On Sunday people are much more flexible all over. A morning/afternoon WoE like what we had before would be fine.

I wanted to chime in on this.

Obviously, since we cover so many regions now, it's hard to find two time that work for everyone.

In the beginning, we did 17:00 on Thursday and Sunday. The problem was that 17:00 on Sunday would be sometime in the early morning on Monday for nearly half of our players, which wasn't very cool.

Also, keep in mind to space the days out so there's about equal(ish) time between WoEs in case someone gets a fort or castle in one and has about the same amount of time to enjoy it's spoils before the next.

Additionally, we cannot split up the times Prontera and Morroc WoE go currently. It would require additional system development to do so, and even though it's not out of the realm of possibilities, that would take a couple months of design, development, and testing. We would also need to understand the pro's and con's of doing such a change (if it's what people want).

We can run a survey if we gather some popular times or days and push it out over the next month or two to gather feedback, as well.

I prefer no change to WoE time, we had done the change not too long ago.  The current time we came up with has already considered all sides possible to avoid people need to wake up at 3am ~6am in the morning for a majority of regions.  Also to avoid people being at work/school as much as possible.

7am server time (west coast) is 10am for the people in east coast North America, that is within work/school time.

For Wednesday, somewhere between 0700 to 0900 server time would be great. While the NA could attend before going to work, SEA timezone is midnight, and EU timezone is around afternoon.

Fair treatment for both region!

This isn't a fair proposal to begin with, weekday and weekend is a different treatment already.  Of course people are more willing to wake up early on a non-work/school day than on a work/school day.

No. Assuming thats for California time where the sever is based off. That will mean our friends to the east will be woeing at 10am- noon. Most jobs or shools do 8-6 work hours or school hours. Majority of the NA guilds will be affected. No matter what time we pick, one timezone is going to get shafted. Also as a reminder even tho we are an international sever now. The sever is in the USA, and players will probably expect USA friendly times.

I vote for old times, Sunday at 17:00, because Sunday is so boring without WoE now.  I think whats more important than a time change for WoE is fixing the imbalance in the game first, then worry about WoE times.

This change would be more acceptable for the Saturday WoE time. European players would be midday/Evening/Morning on the weekend for most players who participate in WoE. I'd be accepting of a time change for this slot if it ONLY was on Saturday WoE.

As Leila said, time change would strongly favor one side would screw over any NA guild because that is prime time for Work/School. As it is an international server not everyone can be happy, but the time change on Sat/Sun WoE would be most pleaseing to everyone.
