So I was making some tests and calculations, and I'm wondering: is there any reason to get more than 80 points on str/int ?
I tested these 2 builds
1.
str 92+22

going over 80 isnt really needed just a waste if you go over90
dex can be lowered to under 20 maybe even 1 because of revo classic cast times

Wow, that sounds extreme.

It doesn't. In fact, since int reduce cast time and half of the cast of Gfist is removed here...
If I have read well, the Fixed cast time part of spells is removed here. It accounts for half of Gfist cast time.
Its cast time is 4.5s - 0.5s*skillLvl which means 2s because if you haven't gfist 5 in a gfist build : wut.
So. 2 second cast time, you can remove 50% because of said mechanics.
1 second cast time.
Int reduces cast time, it's half effective as dexterity :
"BaseVCT × (1 − SQRT[{DEX × 2 + INT} ÷ 530]) × (1 − Sum_VCTReduc ÷ 100)"
The last part is kathryne keyron cards and everything, let's remove it.
What's left is :
BaseVCT × (1 − SQRT[{DEX × 2 + INT} ÷ 530])
So 1sec * (1-0.42) for 90 int which leaves a cast time of 0.58s for 90int and "0" dex.
Of course you can put more dex and it'll reduce cast time more effectively !
50 dex is equivalent to 100 int so the sqrt is of 190 instead of 90.
50 dex and 90 int would lead to a cast time of 0.4s.
That's nice, but as you can see, not mandatory.
With High Value of Int, getting dex lose effectiveness compared to low int.
50 points in dex will decrease the cast time by 0.18s which is a cool reduction, but less game-changing.

Didn't see for TSS. Sorry.
Yeah TSS has higher cast time, so putting dex might make a bigger difference.
Assuming it's all variable, I would still prefer your first build.
With first build you get, assuming i'm not too bad at maths (it's possible) :
6s * (1-(sqrt(203/530)) = 6s * 0.38 = 2.28s cast time
With second build you get :
6s* (1-(sqrt(231/530)) = 6 * 0.33 = 1.98s cast time
However maybe lowering STR a bit to put more vit in first build would allow you to get more survivability ?
1 vit being 1% max hp if it didn't change, it can prove useful not to die on reflect when it's out and improve overall survivability.

Hey,
My current build on my lvl 60 acolyte right now is
STR - 55 or 60 (no more than 60)
Vit-20
INT-20
Dex-55
Im building a asura monk.
So is my dex too much?? any recomendations for lvl 61-up to fix my build.
THanks

Not too much, it's fine and will help for TSS.
However if you pump points in Int, it will help reduce cast time and increase damages.
I would continue to up str/int and then put some points in vit.
I always prefer to have at least 50 vit on almost any character as it doesn't cost much for a nice +50% hp.
It's even more important if you plan to woe.
Maybe something like 80str/80int/55dex/rest in vit ?
Well, depends if you really want to pump Gfist damage or get some survivability.
Maybe someone else has more to say though.

Thanks. I was looking at other guides and they keep putting dex99 or dex 90 for fast casting so i kinda followed it. Re-start is classic or renewal??

Unless you want everyone and their mother to cancel your asura strike cast. Unless you're just going to go MvP and not woe i agree on the dex investment. You're looking at over 1 second castime with under 30 dex, Just to give a fair example a regular mage with not much dex would take like 2.5 seconds to cast firebolt. If you pay attention that seems like a lot longer doesn't it? In danger and on reflex your mind ticks a lot faster so a 1.4 ish second asura strike is slow as -_-.
