Official Information
The issue with the version 318 CRC mismatch will be resolved as soon as possible.

Unofficial Information - GenPatch Users
If you have run GenPatch and received the CRC Mismatch error, it is important that you do not run the official launcher at this point as it will corrupt the game client and require a reinstall to fix.

If you are in the unfortunate position of having to reinstall, I would recommend using Rayun's Installer which will reinstall both the game client and GenPatch, then follow the steps below to complete the patching process.

If you have received the CRC Mismatch error and have not run the official launcher at this point, please follow these steps to complete the patching process:

  • Navigate to your ROSE Online program folder (e.g. C:/Program Files/Gravity/Rose Online Evolution).
  • Open the file genpatch.ini in Notepad.
  • In Notepad, change the line that reads:
    XMLPatch   http://patch.roseonlinegame.com/roseonline/evopatch/patch.xml
    to
    XMLPatch   http://patch.roseoffline.com/roseonline/evopatch/patch.xml
  • Select File -> Save.
  • Start GenPatch and allow it to update fully. Once the patch has completed, change the line that reads:
    XMLPatch   http://patch.roseoffline.com/roseonline/evopatch/patch.xml
    to
    XMLPatch   http://patch.roseonlinegame.com/roseonline/evopatch/patch.xml
  • Select File -> Save.
  • Close Notepad and play as normal.
