Elemento Academy is hosting an art contest for all who wish to participate!



Will you and your friends go exploring the Cursed Ghost Ship or hang out in Prontera? Is your favorite enemy a Poring? Use your artistic skills to share what you like about Ragnarok Online 2!

Entries

Entries will be accepted from April 19th – April 30th, 2021

Entry Instructions

There will be two categories for entries:

Original Art

Enter a new, originally created piece of art. Draw, paint, sculpt... any way your heart desires! As long as it can be captured in an image and is created by you!

Screenshot/Concept Art

Would you rather share your artistic vision through an edited screenshot, collage, or blend of concept art and in-game screenshots? This is the category for you!

All Entries

Must include a Ragnarok theme AND a brief description of your favorite thing about Ragnarok Online 2!

Winners

There will be at least one grand prize winner per category!  1 Merlion Mount (permanent) and 7Days VIP!

Participation

Each participant will receive 2x April Happy Hour Box.

Rules

One entry per person.

Entries must be posted as a reply to WarpPortal Forums under RO2 News and Events.

Entries must be suitable for all audiences.

My favorite thing about Ragnarok Online 2 (today) is the nostalgia it brings whenever I play. I first played in 2013, a noob of course (though still I am xD), but that time I get to experienced the pre Morroc parties, raids, events such as this, and a lot more... Had an awesome guild back then, though I hardly remember the name now xD. Played hours and hours with my colleagues and rushing from wherever I went to catch the colosseum battles. 

I'm a bit bummed about the MVP event, 'cause of the conflicting time zone to where I am now. But still glad to see that the game is still running, and to me personally is still playable (and enjoyable). I hope to see more glimpses of this game's glory days in the future... Really thankful to the guys who are running it now, I know it's been tough but to those who REALLY enjoyed it back then will surely appreciate whatever you guys are doing.

If there's one thing that has been good during this pandemic, to me is that I get to search and play this game again... -comeback player 2020, IGN: steamhit

Additional Text: I know this game is old but for me i still feel the same feeling i played this game way back 2016. What i like the most out of this game is i meet a lot of people, people i became friends with and theyre still my friends up to this point. At first i come and play just to enjoy the game but i was wrong, instead i found a family. A family i can share my problems with, helping with my struggles and a countless happy moments we shared. Ragnarok online 2 gives me this happy vibes although its not the same before but thats how life works you have to deal with it. I cant count those raids and fun dungeons we faced and ended up laughing about it. If i will pick whats the best game out there i will still pick ragnarok online 2.

Story? I think my frames already more than enough explained everything.. been playing RO1 since OBT, RO2 is like an upgrade but also alot downgrades compared to previous yet still enjoyable..  it's sad the development stopped.

hopefully warpportal can setup more events and actrative prizes  to bring in more fresh blood.

Most of the materials and concept are copy, cut and paste and not my original artwork (beside story board only) thus I'm not taking credits for them. Spent some time editing but got lazy in the end. too much work.  and busy in real life..  hope you guys enjoy.

Who haven't ever had a bad time? I was in that situation when I met RO2 through steam. I decided to give it chance even knowing that my computer is old and not the best ones to run games... Then I had a great surprise! It ran? NO, NOT THAT! The community!!! I have made a lot of friends worldwide, i've met different cultures that made me a better person... It is not only about games in the end. For sure it is a plus that the game is democratic enough to allow "low-pcs" run, what is amazing, it makes it accessable to all. But the truly treasure is the people. I do love RO2 atmosphere! I got a lot of help from players and I make sure to do the same for the news ones as someone did to me once. 

Why I've chosen that screenshot? Because I LOVE exploring the maps and see the beauty of the environment! It took us (me and xXMurzikXx, my partner in all adventures <3) a while to reach the top of Alberta city, but even in low graphs (unfortunatelly), the view is astonishing!
