What is better for leveling a Paladin to royal guard

Hi all,

 

just wondering what would be a decent leveling build for Paladin to a Royal Guard, I dont know what would be better Genesis Ray or Overbrand, as I like both.

 

If anyone has some good pointers and maybe a link to a build would be most helpfull.

Grand cross using CVB in Gramps TI

Genesis Ray if you prefer magic and pair up using Divine Guard helm to heal while you do damage

Or Cannon Spear build with some leech damage (malicious shadow set / hunter fly card), pair up using biolab5 head + ODR + arbitrator set with CRIT/LUK build (can also get its defense piercing benefit using PDM). I would say cannon spear wins in terms of long term endgame imperial guard build than G Ray.
