Maybe, but it really did improve my connection. Noticeably less position lag, spam pots faster, etc.
I'm running XP home. Is there a fix for this O.S. as well?
If so, please post!

I read a little bit into the thread and realized it said that it doesn't seem to work on Home XP. Just the Professional. Or whatever the other version is of XP.its does, but it would be much more noticable if gravity disabled it from the servers too
same fix work for XP in fact i think the fix works much better in XP then is does Vista or W7

It sounds like Win XP Home does not include the required Message Queuing feature, so this change cannot be made on WinXP Home. It's quite possible to bully MSMQ into installing on XP Home though - http://www.google.co...windows+xp+home turns up a number of pages describing various techniques of doing so, and by now, I'm sure the required files can be found online somewhere instead of having to get them off a windows disk from another windows version.
TBH I didn't know anyone used XP Home nowadays, since it hasn't been sold for years afaik, and everyone and their mom has pirated copies of XP Pro (Which, by the way, now update fine via windows update, as long as you skip Genuine Advantage update - so the claim in that thread that illegal copies of windows won't have SP3, and hence shouldn't turn on MSMQ is inaccurate).
