I used to play RO, just came back recently and after I installed and tried to patch i got this.
The RO folder is on my desktop, and when I choose RagFree or Rag to patch I get this error.
I tried patching outside of the folder but it didnt help.
Failed to get 2009-7-21data_gm.gpf file.

Change your permissions to admin via security via right click properties.

If you are still getting that error with full permissions and all access for windows you might have to manually patch.

Im positive that its your security writing permissions cause everyone else has the same problem from a fresh install of RO.

Yeah but now you gotta manually patch the date that keeps erroring out.
