UNABLE TO PLAY CHARACTER

So... I just got my mage to job 50 and went to become a Sage... All was going well until they made me go to the undersea tunnel to farm some stupid items to satisfy the quest giver.

As soon as I try to go into the tunnel my game crashes. Now I can't even log on to my assassin without it crashing. I cannot play my character. WTF.

If someone could bump me out of there I'd appreciate it. Also - how am I supposed to become a sage if I can't even reach the mobs I'm told to hunt for the quest? This is extremely frustrating. All I wanted was to become a sage, and as it stands right now I have two useless characters.
