are there different levels of fair?

if i get "fair" with high ether, and "fair" with hermes, is there any point in using hermes?

then why would ppl pay more for hermes if they do the same as high ethers o.o

Apparently the better quality of chems the more chances of success rate... thats what I've heard. Hermes is the best quality chems which is why I use them for a few of the grade 7 gems... some gems are easier to make and dont require high quality chems... I would like to confirm as well if quality chems does affect your success rates... or is just by 'luck'.

I dont remember the ratings offhand, but i would imagine its on a sliding scale.

so 0-25% = bad
25-50% = below average
50 -75% = fair
75 - 100% = great

for example. You could have to "fair" ratings but one might be towards the bottom end and one might be towards the higher end. Most games with categories like that work that way, very seldom do you find one where fair=fair=fair.
