Does anyone know for sure if they're allowing 99 baby characters to go to third classes? I was told by many people that yes, they would be able to. But I realized I haven't gotten any official word on it. Links to GM/CM quotes would be awesome! :]

I actually saw a baby RK in game during renewal testing. It was owned by Neko so yes, they are allowed to go 3rd classes.

Uhhh, the first ranger test NPC wont let me begin the quest, he says I should stay with my mom. ;___; Can we get a GM/CM answer on this? I 99ed a baby specifically because I was told that they would be able to 3rd AND kRO let babies 3rd.

Some babies can go 3rd and others can't; what the heck? ALL babies are supposed to be able to hit 3rd. I hope this is a mistake, one that'll be fixed...

I have the same problem as well. The NPC that should start the job change quest just tells me "good children should not come to this kind of place".

Ah jeez. This NEEDS to be fixed...I'm thinking more than two or three people need to complain though before the GMs actually care. You'd think characters not being able to job change would be on their list...

I made a list in the patch notes thread (as well as a ticket), but obviously need confirmation from other players for the already-confirmed classes' counterparts. x_x

Going to start a list of which baby classes can and cannot change:

• Can change to third
  
• sage / (wizard ?)
• crusader / (knight ?)
• blacksmith / (alchemist ?)

• Cannot change to third
  
• acolyte classes priest / (monk ?)
• rogue / (assassin ?)
• dancer / (bard/hunter ?)

Hopefully more tickets and such will be sent when it hits Valkyrie; I know of a lot of baby characters there that want to hit 3rd class.

Well, at least they're doing something about it! Fantastic. :] I have yet to see a baby 3rd in game, I can't wait!

Seems like the CMs need to get their facts straight. I finally got a response (like 5 days later) to my ticket:

Please be aware just as baby characters cannot become transcendent classes, baby characters cannot change into the 3rd classes as well. We appreciate your understanding and for your continued support.
