In the sealed box you get the smiling and serious face, the balloon hat and the Heart Ribbon, and a Poring pet. Posable into standing or sitting, with a staff or no staff.
You also get the item code for in-game Heart-Ribbon Hairband.

Yes please.
Wouldn't mind owning another one. \o/ <- Have one on pre-order already.
Edit: By the way Heim, all the faces and headgears shown on GSC's site comes with the nendoroid. I'd take a picture of one of my nendoroids but I'm at work right now. :v

It's very expensive... And at a little under 4 inches tall I'm really not sure exactly what I'm paying for... The ingame item?
A small production run niche market figurine. Turns out these things get more expensive the less of them you make.
As far as Japanese figurines go though, it's about what you'd expect for price.

I understand that completely, as I do have an interest in collectible figures but for the size and quality it's still massively overpriced. For not much more you can get a beautifully detailed much larger figure that can also boast very limited production.
Which is why the only reason I can see is the ingame swag.

It's a "collector's item". If the game is still relative a few years into the future and if GSC never do another rerun for this figure (very possible), it can go over a hundred bucks for its worth. It's very expensive... Well, that and it's a well-made posable figure with an good amount of optional parts. (To GSC's standard, anyways.)
Actually, I don't know about that. I've been poking around the figure world for a while now and I've never seen any good quality 1/8's being sold for anything less than 5000 yen, with most going at 8000 ~ 10,000 yen normally. (That translates to 100~120 USD.)I understand that completely, as I do have an interest in collectible figures but for the size and quality it's still massively overpriced. ETA: I got curious and decided to check ebay for the figurines. On ebay the cost is around $37, but the shipping ranges from $12 to $24, lols.
