How does it actually works?

Every time Dieter takes damage, targets within range will by chance be damaged by magma spray.

I went to Nogg2 and found out that the cast of Magma Flow was interruptible, so how do people lvl their Dieters there when the homun can't even cast the skill?

This is how you do it:

1. Cast Magma Flow before entering Nogg 2.
2. Teleport.
3. Watch things die.
4. Teleport.
5. Watch things die again.
6. Teleport.
7. Watch things die yet again.
8. When there are no enemies nearby, refresh Magma Flow.
9. Teleport.
10. Resume watching things die again and repeat steps 2 to 8 again.


Added:
If your Dieter dies before killing stuff with Magma Flow, kill everything with Cart Cannon. Cast Homunculus Resurrection. If you don't have this skill maxed, throw pots at it till it has 80% HP. Recast Magma Flow (make sure to use this skill right after Homunculus Resurrection so your homunculus doesn't get interrupted). Teleport and resume watch stuff die.

OMG!! That was what I was looking for, CeruleanG. I love you.
I don't have Hom Res lvl 5, just 1 lol. I think I should max it now >.<
The only bad thing is targeting the homun to Aid Pot him.. It's better if I use Aid Condensed Pot with ranked slims instead of throwing regular white potions, isn't it? I mean they heal a lot and I can cast it between him and me so we both get healed.

Aid Condensed Pot has cast time and if your DEX isn't good, you'll end up wasting a lot of them when enemies are attacking you before you use it.

Aid Condensed Pot doesn't heal your homunc anymore from what I've seen...

The most efficient way to Magma Flow level is just let your Dieter die and just use Homunculus Resurrection>Magma Flow every time. Your Dieter at best would last 5-6 waves of enemies before dying, so it's not like you're gonna forget using Magma Flow.

So.. I got 70% in a few hours lvling there, wasted like 600 whites, 250 fly wings and 500 carrots. Not having Res Homun 5 sucks so bad, I wish I had put those 4 points on that instead of pre-requisites of Demonic Fire. I gotta TI my genet to get those jlvls >.<
I also found out that Alchemist Spirit gives:

Increases effectiveness of Aid Potion by BaseLv% - ie. a player of Lv. 80 has their effectiveness of Aid Potion increased by 80%

If I'm not wrong, having a 99 linker would give me 99% more effectiveness when I Aid Pot, meaning that I will heal a lot more my homun than I do now. It works when aid potting the homun, right? D:!
The bright side is that I only gotta get 8 lvls and 30% more so I get Pyroclastic and adds 181 more ATK to my Dieter, and I also use Blood Lust so another 50 more ATK. Meaning that he will rape all the mobs so damn fast. Without Blood Lust he hits 3k - 3,5k per Magma Flow, and if it's activated he hits 4k - 5k.
Btw, I realized that if I greed all the loot around the homun, it's easier to heal him lol.

magma flow is a proc skill. you need to cast it first then by chance it will use the skill.
it works perfectly and it's pretty nice if ur homun could tank some monsters and that's how i could lv 150 my dieter like 9 months ago

Wish I leveled my Homunculus before the merge. Nogg is always crowded now. Can't find decent mobs and have to teleport more often. Mines level 138. 12 more to go but if I go straight leveling that bugger, it only takes about 40-50 minutes for a full level.

I guess I didn't bother using Pyro is because I use a triple HF TENS and I didn't want it to break.

Full Coat, it's a good thing.

(yes, I know, you can't do coat + pyro if you plan on dying, because then your weap will break if you die because the coat cancels before pyro.)

I carry my 3xHF RTE as backup on MVPing, though, so even if my 2xEA Byeo breaks due to an unplanned survival interruption, I can switch to the RTE and do nearly the same damage.

I just tested the Alchemist Spirit thing. IT WORKS!!!!! I heal 2,7k on my homun without link and almost 6k linked by a 85 linker (the ones that are on Prontera next to the AB). It's really helpfull but when I enter Eden Group it disappears, will it work if I use Warp Portal to go to Nogg right after I get linked? Otherwise I'd have to make and lvl a linker with my non-VIP account >.<
Edit: and I was wront, it takes like 9 pots to full heal him without link and 4 when linked. It's a big difference.

I suggest skill resetting and getting max homun rez skill. Those pots will add up and I'm pretty sure you'll burn about 300mil worth of pots before you 150 your Dieter.

I got a linker from a friend, she's 73 but strangely I heal a lot more than I did when I got linked by that 85 linker >.< It may be the lvl of the Spirit, but I don't know cause I enter Eden almost immediately after gettin linked so I don't know how much time did it last lol.

Anyway, it's so damn helpfull this spirit, I only gotta throw1, 2 or 3 pots to my homun so he gets fully health.
It's a shame they're gonna take the exp event out tomorrow. I don't know about the spotlight but it may be taken out too, not sure.

I think I was wrong again, the healing is between 5,7k - 6,7k for both, meaning that the linker's lvl is not affecting the heal. Irowiki doesn't specified if it's the lvl of the linker or the alchy/bio/genet. Others sites says that it is the linker's lvl, but they're pre renewal sites. I think it's the geneticist lvl, but I'm not sure, I can be wrong lol.
Another thing, I reached 124 with 80% before maint. Does it worth it to still lvl in Nogg2 without exp event nor spotlight? (didn't test if the spotlight is on or not) If the answer is no, where should I lvl him then? I like AFK lvling, but I don't care manual lvling if that's the case to get more exp.
