My account on iro chaos is from 2003..so that would be 10 years..damn time flies. anyway:
I made my first chracter, a mage((which is still my main!)),and was walking for the first time in the map just west of geffen,then I saw a wizard do this "Frost diver! *freezes* Jupitell thunder!".
When I saw that I was like "omg omg omg omg omg omg omg thats the coolest thing everrr!!!!! i cant wait to be a wizard!" When I saw that guy do that It was like I was watching a god XP.
Never has trayed away from the wizard class since then..and yes. I still freeze and JT like mad..after all these years....XD

Kathryn Keyron still uses this too....with pretty good results...

I made a Mage 10 years ago. Didn't know about hot keys so I would literally walk around with my skill window open and click on the skill, click Fire Wall, click on Fire Bolt, click on monster. I literally did this until level 40. I also didn't know you had to click on the arrow to use the level of skill you wanted so I think I used level 1-5 most of the time. I saw a wizard use Lord of Vermillion and was in awe at his might. I grinded in Hodes. Then Argiopes until I was job level 50. I made an Aco and leveled in Payon Dungeon. And used to think Manuks were overpowered. Made it to priest and leveled "on the cross" in GH. When LOD farming was popular I got to level 93 on my wiz and joined Deity with Vince Jadefrost and thought I was badass back then. Oh the good times...

One thing that was funny back then is you could attack 10 times a second. So you would have an agi Knight duel where 2 Knights were standing infront of each other and streaming MISS above their heads. You had to type in /skipframe in order to see the slashes.

I started with a novice becose the other classes werent available yet. Alpha version ftw!

My 1st time in Ro was pretty fun. I played with my friends in high school so lvling wasnt boring. The 1st character I made was a mage. I placed luk on it cuz i thought it affects drops. Other noob things I did was use the frost drive+lightning bolts and soul strike lvl 10, which were popular skills back then. Oh and I once asked my friend where the save button is... XP

hey, soul strike is still useful!

i started as a thief. and being poor and not knowing anything, i walked everywhere. like literally from morroc to alberta to prontera to geffen. now i get VIP for the warps XD
