Since it's a cast build, you need to focus on your cast time as well as balance your MATK output.

So you have 2 choices... either go for DEX build or %cast time reduction build.

Am... can you elaborate?...

And i really want to see the Skill build tree...

This forums are dead because the people are not helping out another people, its like they just dont want to share what they know... i appreciate the people that actually do or try to help, but i see that some of my topics are read like 60 more views and only one or 2 people answer... so to that people stop being pathetic this is just a game we are not asking for the secrets of life you know?.

Perhaps you have a wrong definition of "help"

I personally won't give you a "build" or "stats" but what I do is just give you tips so you can find your own build yourself... every player has their unique build and that's what makes this game fun... if you just gonna follow someone because is good or has a better build, you are gonna start losing identity and at the end you gonna ended up being just a shadow of the player you trying to copy from.

That applies in game and real life as well...

I gave you 2 examples or ways to make your TV build... either go for %cast time reduction or pure DEX... if you can't even fathom what did I suggest those 2 builds, then you have no business playing this class since that's some knowledge you should've had since you were a High Wizard and before that.

Again, people will help you... but they won't give you everything in spoon so you can just grab the knowledge w/o doing the less effort to understand the meaning behind it.

If you have any question, be explicit and ask away...

Your Welcome =)

Unless you want it purely for pvp in which case you could do a release TV build or something, you would need very high end matk gear for that to do anything though unless you just want to gank awful players or people that gear purely offensively and catch them off guard

Is this a pvp or pvm build?

Either way, get 2 RWC pendants with spell3 spell 3 enchants on both of them. Then get anywhere between 70-110 dex. 115 or more int. The more int the better since int is your best friend as a warlock.
Get as much dex as you feel comfortable with. You can get less depending on whether you have RWC gear / KK / Spell masters / Vellum (if this is for pvp).
Remember the 3 matk stats are: Luk, int, and dex. Some are more useful than others, but you'll figure out that in time.

But yes, unless you have high end gear for PVP, you're better off being a support warlock. Which, don't take that the wrong way. Support warlocks are awesome.

Skill build wise...just max tetra. Once you do that you're left with almost nothing, so it's preference!

I just interested because maybe... MAYBE i will do a warlock, but i heard that there are 2 builds, comet and tetra, since tetra has more elements and i heard that is good for mvp i was interested, but i dont know i have been reading a lot of warlocks and all that i read is that they are really bad, i like them because i think its the class with more AoE, but if the class is just bad i preffer to skip it.

So many words to say that you wont going to share what you know because you are selfish, and dont like others to compete wiith you, you put a wall betwen you and the people that ask for help, that way you think you are going to be always one step ahead of others, but dont worry with or without you people find the things that you dont share....

And i have to tell... this is a game... just a plain and simple jobby, so the things that you think you know that you consider super important, for me are just that, a jobby, and a way to waste some of my free time, so... much secrecy for nothing.

Warlocks are good at PVM, and they're a fun class to play imo. MVPing with WLs is kinda eh because MVPs have high mdef, but it's still possible. I'd honestly prefer to go Comet build though.

And woah o_o. I've seen Wizard/Haseo/whatever his name is help out people on the forums, more discretely at times, but he still does. There's really no need to be snappy :P . It's his personal decision whether or not he wants to reveal his stats/skills/equips/etc :heh: .

I like the AoE factor of warlocks and that in ragnarok magic classes tend to have infinite SP... could you give an example of a comet build?

I'm a Tetra warlock, Haseo a Comet one, my build basically is reco 1, freezing 3, tetra 5. Get a Vellum +9 for WoE and a Skull Cap +12 with KK and a +12 TSOD Spell 4 x2 for PvM. RWC pendants Spell 3x2, but if you want it for MVP, get a Gen instead. If you have any other questions just ask :3.

do pick interest more in warlock..its really is a unique class, n we have much ppl here who willing to help u.
as such, warlocks r knowledge explorer/searcher, so bfore u decide to become warlock, i think its natural to have a desire to learn n seek further knowledge bout this class than other class too.
warlock can become an amazing feat to the team/others n as far as i feel, warlock will teach u more on skills of urself n ur toons (switching/stacking/reduction/MATK calculation/resistance)
warlock is fun btw. do come join our community ya :ok:

Perhaps if you read what I wrote, you will see that even there, I'm giving you the 2 kind of builds recommendable for TV. Maybe you are right, I am a selfish person as well as megalomaniac, but that doesn't mean that I will give you a build w/o you making the effort to research something about it either. Think outside the box and you will succeed in anything you want... in game and outside as well (that's we scientist do anyway).

If you have free time, I encourage you to read and look things for yourself... most old players had to experiment and research most stuff they know now w/o having someone else telling them what to do... but in any case, I believe you have the main idea of what do you want, therefore you should start testing what is better for you since whats best for someone else may not be of your liking...

I'm a Tetra warlock, Haseo a Comet one...

I do remember when I was the first TV Warlock on server... it was so fun... I think I still have a video of those days...

TV build for now is quite nerfed now with all kafra blossom card n many elemental resistance item..but it still the best single hit-lock spell for warlock imo (other than CL spamming).. i guess its a bit waste that most of us cant benefit much from it though (higher grade equipment still needed/single target/long preparation for TV/casted TV always better than release one, which needs cast reduction gear)..so yah, its quite complicated but not quite complicated enough to compare with comet skills.
if u gonna woe with TV, i suggest u try it in both woe1 n woe2.these 2 woes r very different where woe1 can be quite empty sometimes with ppl working at that time, n so, u might come up with the idea of using the TV build or not.
afaik, tv build is quite simple. just make sure u have another killing skill to support with it too/disable skill to maximise the benefit from tv build (e.g. ES, SExcrate, JF,w/e lol XD)

At least you dont deny the truth, i tend to speak it, but i respect that you dont get angered about what i said, or if you did you just accepted it and dont loose the composture, thx for your time anyway.

I really like the mage class, i played in classic and the most that i like its that they have infinite sp and can spam skills or heal and use vitata, hide with smokie, teleport etc... but i read about the class alot and i saw that there are a lot of changues in this class in particular, and that most of the power they have, they lost it.

Im training a swordman right now, and it will became a royal guard, maybe in the future i will make a mage class.

I won't get angry or deny something that I know is truth... I'm way too cool to do so plus I have a lot of experience dealing with people...

Warlocks haven't lost power but the gears introduced got way too strong for regular players to overcome... hence why damage is quite low... the only way to surpass this is by overflow the enemy with damage.

This is true ^
But we still can inflict all this status to help the killing or help us to kill someone:
>Frozen
>Divest
>Stone
>Stun
>Burn
>Bleeding
>Freezing (the little ice on your head)
>Blind
>White Imprison it's not considered a status, but it's kinda the same thing
>Marsh of Abyss
>Quagmire
>Stasis
>Cursed

The true of why I prefer tetra over comet is because all the reductions that comet has. GR, DR, Raydric (almost everyone), + WoE sets + Shield + Thara, Gems, etc, and tetra you can manipulate it however you want, the only true reduction against tetra are the KBCs but not so many people can afford one of those.
