merging servers would be a drastic change and a rigid process it would be nice to have it on CD (crystal defenders) players from two servers "Leonis vs Draconis" = AWESOME! (but not possible) rofl

Arggghhhhh. They need to do this for my benefit if for no other reason.

I came back oh, 2 months ago or so after a long hiatus. Couldn't remember the password for my old account so created a new one and start playing on Draconis. Then the old accounts password pops into my head one day, I log in, no characters booo.

Today I start thinking about it. Draconis is the newest server. My old characters would be on Leonis...

Billions worth of goods on them =/ Ancient gear up the wazoo, enchanted stones, item mall crap about 8 cross shields, astarot wings >.< Shoot me now.

Things seem to have been different back then, either that or I just didn't care. My level 62 soldier has all it's gear drilled and slotted with enchanted stones lol. Given those are around 150m+ on Draconis that seems a touch extravagant to be using on such low level gear.

There is a Chem War going on in Dracones at DOD... as of now.. I think it will be much worse if they merged the servers and there are a lot of strong players in Leones. Most of them will crush Draco players.

There is zero reason that Leonis players would be stronger than Draconis players. More experienced? As a whole probably. Richer? Almost definitely. Stronger? Why? The games are identical, the characters, skills and equipment are identical... There are tons of max level or nearing max level players on Draconis just like Leonis.

There is no valid reason whatsoever other than bragging to think that the players on Draconis would somehow be at a disadvantage to the Leonis players strength wise after a merge.

I'll happily take on any Leonis player my level if and when the merge happens, and I'm not even that interested in PVP.

Other than the technical aspects and name conflicts the economy is honestly the biggest stumbling block here.

once merged there will be lots of arguments between buyers and sellers from both servers for days if not weeks. But most likely settle down to a middle price for common items. or raise in price for those rarer ones, like ancients (draco doesn't have them)

It's not that they aren't both messed up, it's that they're messed up to different degrees meaning the Draconis players would be at a pretty serious disadvantage to begin with.

The thing everyone is forgetting is that it will never happen haha. Just ask Leonis in a PM, he'll tell you exactly that. Are there benefit? absolutely. Are there problems, definitely. It's a great topic, and a great thing to debate, but it's still fantasy.

I guess it will take a lot of time to make the adjustments lots of man hours and that will cost a lot. I do understand that they want to play it on the safe side/

As a player, I really expect some knowledge exchange , new circle of friends, and trade opportunity when it comes to Server Merging. Instead, many of those from Leonis here are looking forward to prove themselves superior than those in Draconis. IMO, that is the most pointless thing you can do in. You might as well take a walk down AP and show the newbies there how you can kill Mini Jelly Beans in 10,000 different ways, all in just One-Shot.

If you think Leonis is that good and formidable.... then come to Draconis. Don't ask Draconis players to go over to Leonis , it doesnt make sense. If the price in Leonis are higher than in Drac, and if you are the better player there, then by all means. You can manage yourself just fine here. Prove you can level more efficiently, gather desired gears, and pvp like a man. Asking Draconis players to go over Leonis is just your excuse of being a coward. Mind you, 70% of Draconis players dont even know there is a Forum. So dont show your muscle here.

Its a sad case. While Most Draconis players are still curious and doing their best in leveling, quest, farming... the other server which should have provided them with necessary knowledge actually seek to overpower them in the most pathetic way.

This is one thing Leonis server will never have better than Draconis. " Gamers Etiquette"
