I have a sneaky suspicion that "kRO buffs" means a very common everyday term like "was made in kRO and just recently made it to iRO but nobody's using it yet as far as I can tell" which, incidentally, I've never heard before.

There are just a few... and some can be classified as the amp scroll which took the community good 1 year for everyone to learn it.

Amp scroll buffs were quite well known since they were first made possible, since they were posted to the kRO boards within the week and copy-pasted to pretty much every guild I knew about at the time. Believe it or not, it helps to be specific.

Indeed... but it was after 1 year that the rest of community learned about how to use them.

It's a valid point. What's the purpose of making up unclear terminology (so unclear that you need a whole paragraph to explain it) or make vague, mysterious, oh-so-special comments aside from that fleeting sense of superiority?

I'm not doing this to attack you. Completely unnecessary terminology is only going to mislead people, and I'm calling that out.

And yeah, never talked to Azyrk outside of this thread either.

Not sure man, you did mention that you had some math background, therefore most of the terminology and even the numbers shouldn't be unknown for the likes you... and about of that being unclear, from what I've been told, is not as hard to understand at all (judging from the pm's I get every now and then... but yah, not everyone is the same when getting the grasp of something... sometimes I do forget that, kinda like a bad habit).

In don't need a whole paragraph to explain something... well, sometimes I do but doubt any one here know or care about Wheeler's quantum equations or plasma's factor 8 and 9 protein decomposition/fractionation for igGV's lol, but I had to write a basic algorithm for you hence why it looks a 4 or 5 lines paragraph since you failed to understand it the 2 lines explanation (which was quite self-explanatory if you take a look at the numbers).

But in any case, I did made a mistake by assuming a certain basic level for some equations that, as I mentioned before, it looked self-explanatory... therefore my apologies (as I mentioned before, some ppl that pm'ed me from here and other countries did understood quite well, hence I thou it was ok to keep writing like that).

Next time, I shall write a most-basic explanation so you can understand as well as the terminology that I've been using for long time already =)

And to not be off topic as the guys who posted before me... There's another way to increase MATK to almost same level as FBH (if not more), and no... is not implemented (yet?), but that will turn ppl to keep using magic as their main offensive, specially after DB nerf...

I shall post another screenshot after I get my hands in one of them and test it properly as always =)

I'm out of this thread unconvinced until you can come up with something that's not a crackpot theory and have the reasonable scientific ability to explain a hypothesis. I'm afraid you don't even know what an algorithm means, from your distinct lack of any algorithm within those definition paragraphs. You are doing an incredible job at making yourself look silly, to be honest.

Refuting your thread's contents are not offtopic, by the way. It's how science works: you present a hypothesis, data, and a conclusion, and your peers (e.g. us) validate it and confirm or challenge your hypothesis. When your peers are confused or disagree, childishly denouncing them is a terrible idea.

Let's see... about the terminology I've been using for a while now... do you know that I did explain it while before at the beginning of the thread? hence why people has been following for a while now? Even thou, is something I name it just cuz it sounded cool, I did describe it and explain it long ago, hence why I didn't understand what u mean by terminology because it was quite there from the very beginning...

Also, the only problem you seems to have is about terminology, I have yet to see any other question even thou you did say that most of calculations were wrong, without even knowing what were they about... hence why I tried to explain them in my past replies... even thou you mention that the terminology was no where to be found, I didn't get what you meant because you never explain yourself even further... heck, what terminology? there's a lot of terminology I've been using since a while... you have to learn to be more specific... also, as I mentioned before, it was written and explained from the very beginning (if you happen to care reading the whole thing) and I believe, on each reply as well.

I don't know what unconvinced you are, since you seems to do not even know what you wanna be convinced about... you first were asking where the numbers came from... after explaining it several times over, you asked where the terminology came from, and so I did explain (repeat myself over and over) until you decided that you didn't understood the meaning behind it.

Several people did understood what I meant, specially because I did explain it long ago, hence why I was surprised by you when you didn't know what the numbers or terminology were about... perhaps they were right about this, but I did want to believe that I was the one that didn't explain right... perhaps I was mistaken on that as well.

And yes and no lol, you have the right grasp or argumentation, but not how it works... at least, not for me. Perhaps that was another mistake since I was used to the grad school one... there, you present your research to the committee and then, they will study your paper and you enter in a debate against 15 or 20 of them in where, they will use their own calculations and use of your data to present you cases in where your data has been proof wrong regarding your first hypothesis... Hence why I asked you for your calculations on the matter since you can't just say no, you have to prove your point in where, your argument can be valid as well. I was asking you to test it and come out with numbers for that very reason, and that's another failure of me... sometimes I do forget where I am posting all this. That's why I didn't took your "challenging my argument" valid because for one, you failed me to present a counter argument based on your very own calculations... we usually take that as some bias argument and we discard it from being serious since it lacks of data/error and a very own hypothesis.

In any case, to sum up your "arguments":

1. Numbers, why the so-called break barrier was 1100matk... answered on the first reply.
2. Asking again number 1 because you didn't understood the numbers... answered again in the following reply.
3. Asking about how close to 50% was the best way to balance a build... replied with examples and then, quoting first post?
4. Asking again because you didn't understood... I think I did reply again with another mountain of algorithm and explanation.
3. Asking for terminology... I believe I did quote you my very first post... and then I made a summary.

What you don't believe, is beyond me since I don't even know what part is where you are confuse about... you have yet to be clear on that hence I can't tell if you trolling or not lol

In any case, feel free to ask again, be specific on what don't understand and I may help you with that... to be honest, is not hard at all... its just using common sense and very basic math as well as some statistics for cases in where numbers are not defined (such as misc. matk)... quite simple really.

Also, as I mentioned before, I can't provide with all the data since I just took numbers from damage and then got the min/max margin of error from each against the max matk (recog spell) to calculate the +/- from misc. matk (hence why is random and it needs probabilities) and I believe, everything else has examples and good explanation?.

Anyway, again, a doubt, be specific in what you want and I shall answer with what I have/know. =)

now, for GMs, pls do something to this absurd very long thread... kinda make a final statement about the real clarified formula and what not...

1) since when I have those?? just cuz I had them for the ropd bot to catch, doesn't mean I do have them for real lol... and no man, I wish I had sac all the time... well, I do have most of the time, but I tend to run at front to cast and sometimes I get off the sac range.

2) Indeed, I'm quite please you did get what I meant by "having it risks" and the "need of team work"... in order to achieve more damage, you have to give away something... remember, we need a 2 hand staff in order to deal good amount of damage, but since our SP gets drained quite easily, energy coat will fall below the mark to give the 30% all out reduction... hence why Sacrifice is need it in order to keep spamming spells w/o dying.

It is hard to pull off spells by casting them w/o sacrifice, but released spells are something else, you can switch back and forwards all your gear in less than 2 seconds so you can deal the desired damage and get back to defense mode... sadly, it is somehow hard to pull it off and thats why I find myself missing something and dying to out pottable skills. (I switch between 3 gear to release, 5 gear to defense and 3 gear to cast spells).

I did post one of my builds (testing) on first page? I made another couple more and I shall post it when I log in game...

Ohh about the gear swtich... this is how one of my warlock's hotkeys looks like... sadly, we don't have more space, so have to prioritize some spells to anothers.



I do have 3 warlocks and each have a different stat build and equipment... the latest one is used for testing purposes and the 2 main ones (the ones u usually see on my videos) are for "live-testing" purposes.

PS: Gear switch will give you good advantage, not now but with the new gears to come... in which, you will either give up your defense or switch like there's no tomorrow...
