forum has alot of info and also goes years back ... as this is 2013 I was wondering never having played the game what are good classes to play PVE and not too gimped in PVP.

Mystic = easymode pve, excellent to make lant. Good at pvp with decent gear. Overall best survival of AoE magic classes.

Yeah mystic. defi lacks hp and def, tempy is good but less useful in raids till higher lvl. Mystic is an all rounder with totem that removes debuffs better than any other skill.

Definetly a ranged mage type. This game is not kind to single target classes or ones who use melee within PVE. PVP has gotten more balanced in recent years to account for single target classes within PVP. Its pretty difficult to AOE mob train when the mobs are hitting you back.
