IM Buffs

Are there any advantages to getting the IM buffs? Like how much extra does it add? Someone once told me that if I get the IM buffs I don't need to use skill points on my buffs? Lol, how does that work?

You don't have to use skill points, and aside from that. Its really good for a party or if your doing war or Cristal defenders. IM Buffs are also called group buffs because it buffs all the people in the party once you sellect a specific buff. But take note its not any more powerful than the normal buffs. So invest only on these if you want group buffs, or you really want to save those Skill Points.

If you're becoming a FS cleric, then its best to get IM buffs. Cleric Buffs are based on the cleric's INT, so in terms of stats(ap,def,mspeed,dodge..etc) theres no difference between IM and reg buffs.
IM buffs require that you max out your Cleric's Regular Buffs first before you can learn them.
The advantages:
1. Saves you MP and TIME when you need to buff multiple players. If you have IM buffs, you will be able to buff everyone in your party or group thats nearby at the same time.
2. IM BUFFS are not affected by JOB SKILL RESET. They are Permanent. If you decide to get IM buffs, you have the choice to do a job skill reset and have extra skill points because you no longer need to use them towards regular buffs. Those extra skill points can be used towards better heals, better defense, stun attack.. etc. Please remember there is no HP/MP IM buff, so if you decide to skill reset, make sure you get the HP/MP buff in Muse tab after the reset.

The disadvantages:
1. It costs around 1b-1.4b to get all of the IM buff books from Item Mall sellers.
2. The IM buffs are Group/Party buffs, so you cannot target and buff other players without being in a party/group with them if you choose to get rid of your Cleric's Regular buffs with skill reset. You cannot buff summons either.
