Hi,

I've got a con arti (on server draconis), cuz i want to craft gems, carts and castle gear. I've searched the forum but I couldn't find an answer to my question. How much con do I need to get 100% succes rate by crafting lvl 7 gems? And do I need a specific chemical for that or is it possible to get with all the chemicals 100% succes rate? My arti is now over 200, con is maxed out and I'm searching for good con equipment (with gems in it) to get higher con. The server is down so I can't tell how much con i exacly got, but it's allmost 900. I'm not even close to a 100% succes rate for lvl 7 gems so how much do i need or is it even possible to get 100% succes?

Can anyone help me with this?

You cannot achieve 100% success rate on all the grade 7 gems. Some gems already have a 100% success rate even at grade 7, for example the Jade 7 has a 100% success rate. Some gems like D7 or P7, you'd need more than the max CON available to get 100%, with max con you can get up to 85,x% success rate (can't remember precisely and can't check cause servers are still down)

That is based on my own experience with my artisan, lvl 230 1253 CON.

But if I understand this well it makes a difference witch gem you craft how much the succesrate is?

Yes, some gems have a higher base success rate. I cannot remember which ones now.

Albe is right. You cannot have 100% success rate on gem 7 even with max con and max level. If you use herme (rare and limit in number) as chem, you will get around 89% at gem 7 when crafting D7. It may seem low to you, but it is a lot better than before the gem crafting system overhaul. Back then, you failed a lot more.

It does make a minor (real minor) difference as to what chem you use also. Hermes is the highest grade chem, thus gives you the most success percentage, but the difference is only like .02% between grades of chems.
