INTRODUCTION

Are you new? Just starting the game? Trying to find something to replace those old & used Eden Gears? Well look no more! At Treasure Chest Central, you are able to earn gears suitable for your class for leveling! All you need to do is complete mini quests with various difficulty, and once you complete them, you are eligible for rewards~ (Warning: If you have decent gears, it might not worth your time for doing this event! The purpose of this event is to help & educate new players. You will be learning how to use databases, ragial.com, quests, forums/screenies, and more!)
Please ready Very Carefully all of the rules below; they are crucial for completing the event smoothly. For further questions, look below at the Tips section to see how you can contact me.
STORY

Michaeleel is a Bounty Hunter Chaser who hunts down bad guys, but instead of turning the culprits in, he steals their things and takes it for his own~ (Which makes him a bad guy too =0!)
Last week, Puffy's Pirate Crew stole the entire Eden Group's secret storage that were full of equips! Hearing this message, Michaeleel noticed his chance of taking those equips without being punished legally! Thus, he ventured across the sea, found the pirate crew, and stealth-fully stole everything without putting up a fight!
Upon coming home with the treasure chest full of equips, The Thing was waiting at his door steps, as if he knew that Michaeleel would take these for himself. Being a smart thief as he is, he knew he couldn't out-play The Thing, and thus unwillingly gave up his rewards, sobbing while whispering "S..sob..you're the real devil..". With a quick sharp glance from The Thing, "What you say!?", Michaeleel immediately looked up and shouted, "Nothing! =X....T^T"
But that wasn't the end of the story...
Yesterday, news came across that the mighty Puffy's Pirate Crew will come and wreck Eden Group again! Somehow, they found out Michaeleel stole their things, so they are back for revenge! Knowing that this famous pirate crew were insanely strong, Eden Group has sent out it's best warriors in the front line to protect us. However, they needed major help for the supports in the back line! Building cannons, setting up traps, and building healing camps all need lots of materials and labor work!
Thus, The Thing has thought of an idea; to have new players go gather the materials and help build the defense line, while giving out the stolen equips as a reward!
RULES

1)

2) Do quests, earn Notoriety, and trade Notoriety for equips!
3) There will be both long term quests lasting a full week, and short term quests lasting a few hours. Check back often to see updates!
4) You may only trade in your Notoriety for rewards when the title above sais "Trade In's [ACTIVE]" - usually this is whenever I am online, or when Short Term Quests are active.
5) All equips are ~>2mil worth; they are mostly for new players who only have Eden gears to level with. Usually, they are better than Eden Gears but inferior to most others. Some of them may even be random, such as a Poison Plate, or a Cat Hand Glove, but most weapons are lv4. There are a few 2mil-30mil equips but will only appear during special short term quests or if you earn Gold Medals (see below).
6) Event ends until stock is done or until 1 full week.
7) I will decide what equip to give you, thus the value of the equip means nothing - I will only give you what helps you the most. When trade-ins are [ACTIVE] and you are next to me, open your equips to show me what you usually wear. I will only give you equips related to your character's job - you must show up with that character!
8) If somehow you cannot come to any of the [ACTIVE] trade-in's, after the event has ended, the Trade-In guy will stay there for some time (or you can PM me, but ONLY after the event has ended.)
INTRODUCTORY COURSE on How To Turn In A Quest

First visit the Quest Area, which is located at Eden Group 2nd floor, in the Waiting Room, across the stairs.
Once you enter the place, you will see 2-3 characters. The left guy is to turn in your materials or quest items to earn Notoriety points. The right guy is to answer any questions you have, or give advice on leveling, gears, and such, only when he is not AFK (the chatroom will say so). For some extra info you may also PM them and they will auto-reply you with basic information.
If a quest asks you to turn in 10 jellopies, first enter the left guy's chatroom and he will trade you. Give him the 10 jellopies and he will announce you earned ** amount of Notoriety. He will record it in his journal. Once you do so, you can either continue do quests, or go to the guy behind him with the "Trade-In" chatroom. He will only appear when this thread shows "Turn-In [ACTIVE]" status above. He will also appear at the end of the event for some time, so don't worry if you miss him. Enter his chatroom with your equips open.
Depending on your Notoriety and Class, he will decide and give you a suitable equip for leveling. Gold Medals may be given out at random or if I see you work hard consistently - these will earn you special prizes at the end!
Do note that you must have a minimum of 200 Notoriety in order to do trade-ins. Once you do a trade in, your Notoriety is reset to 0.
QUESTS

Short Term Quests:
Quest #1: Invade the Monster's Nest!
Difficulty: ??? | Notoriety: ??? | Gold Medal: Hard | Time: 7/17 10:00PM PST
SUCCESS!
The pirates have unleashed their monsters to invade us first! The monsters have built up a nest, and we shall go invade them before they grow more fierce! meet up inside the Prontera Church, top right of Prontera, and we shall go as a group!
Mission: Meet up inside Prontera Church, join the party, and invade the nest of monsters. If successfully executed, all members will receive Notoriety depending on monster difficulty. Gold Medal is given to whoever stands out the most (including healers/supports). If mission fails, everyone will receive less Notoriety. MUST be on time in order to join.
Tips: You will lose exp on death, so be careful! Let the tankier people in front. Also, make sure to be there early rather than late, you cannot join after the party has left.
Quest #2: Find the Kidnapper!
Difficulty: Medium | Notoriety: 400 | Gold Medal: None | Time: NOW!
SUCCESS!
The Thing has been kidnapped by one of the pirate's crew, Poosopu! He seems so all-mighty and strong! Quick, go find The Thing and rescue him from those evil claws! Here, this photo we took might give you some clue to where he is!
Mission: Be the first to find The Thing and rescue him from poosopu to earn 400 Notoriety.
Tips: Clues will be posted here if not found for some time.
Quest #3: Final Showdown!
Difficulty: Hard | Notoriety: 9000+!? | Gold Medal: One | Time: 7/21 1:00PM PST
The Puffy Pirate Crew has finally reached the shores of our country, and are about to attack! Pami, Poosopu, Pobin, are all strong members of the crew..especially their captain Puffy! With all the preparations done from you guys, we have armed the entire place with traps and provided the other warriors equips! But now, the enemies have also recruited MvPs as allies...so let's all go and fight them!
At 1:00PM PST, gather up at Alberta to group up! When we gathered enough people, we will warp you to their ship and have the FINAL SHOWDOWN! Let's teach them what we've got!
Mission: Gather up in Alberta (can be warped from Kafra Employee) and join The Thing's chatroom to join the fight. 9000 Notoriety will be spread among the number of players who come, and depending on if we win or not, the Notoriety will go up or down. High level players will also join us to fight the battle. Finish all the MvPs to win the fight, and the one player who stands out most will earn a Gold Medal!
Tips: Upon entering the ship, monks use Mental Strength to tank! Other support and damage them! Be aware that upon death you can lose exp. Try to bring as many yggdrasil leaves as you can to resurrect your teammates. Save at Alberta, there will be a warp constantly open to warp you to the ship.
Long Term Quests:
Quest #1: Melting Weapons
Difficulty: Easy | Notoriety: 100 | Gold Medal: Easy-Medium (Random) | Time: Indefinite / Or until full stock
We need more Lv3 Weapons to melt for our cannon balls! For quality, it must be Lv3 Weapons dropped from monsters! (We will know if you bought them from a store, they won't work!) If you can give us 2 Lv3 Weapons, we will be thankful!
Mission: Turn in 2 Lv3 Weapons for 100 Notoriety and a random chance to earn a Gold Medal. There is a limit in how much you may turn in.
Tips: You may check if a weapon is store-bought or not at db.irowiki.org - Search the weapon, and if it is sold by an NPC, it will not be eligible for trade. An example of some worthless lv3 weapons are Orcish Axe, Orcish Sword, Books, Fists, Laphine Staff, Red Flame Whip, etc. These are easy to farm and usually thrown away. Try not to turn in Lv3 Weapons that are sold for 200k+, because that might earn you more. To check on average prices, visit www.ragial.com
Quest #2: Making Bombs
Difficulty: Easy | Notoriety: 75 | Gold Medal: Medium-Hard (Random) | Time: Indefinite / Or until full stock
Gah! All these bombs we need for traps and Genetics, if you can bring us 40 Stems, 40 Poison Spores, 4 Fabrics and 4 Immortal Hearts we can bomb those pirates into meat pieces!
Mission: Turn in 40 Stems, 40 Poison Spores, 4 Fabrics and 4 Immortal Hearts for 75 Notoriety and a random chance (harder) to earn a Gold Medal. There is a limit in how much you may turn in.
Tips: Search db.irowiki.org for the material names and you can go to those maps to farm the items.
Quest #3: Lighten Up!
Difficulty: Easy | Notoriety: 25 | Gold Medal: Hard | Time: Indefinite
We need help to refresh and lighten up the mood for those tired mercenaries! Give us 1 Holy Water, along with the best joke you have, and we'll give you a free +4 Upgrade for your future equip, plus 25 Notoriety!
Mission: Turn in 1 Holy Water and a good joke to earn 25 Notoriety and a free +4 Upgrade on one equip when you Trade-In later. The person with the best joke told will earn 1 Gold Medal at the end of the event. Each person is only eligible for one reward.
Tips: Fart jokes are funny. But too bad you can't make fart noises in the game XD! Don't google it either, makes it no fun =x
Quest #4: Extermination
Difficulty: Hard | Notoriety: 325 | Gold Medal: Medium | Time: Indefinite
Let's train you to become super pro! Join a party or solo any MvP in the game to show me that you're powerful! Kill any MvP and submit a screenshot here and we'll give you Notoriety! If you are in a party with others, every member will earn the same amount of Notoriety.
Mission: Kill any MvP in the game, partied or solo, and submit a screenshot of proof that you killed him (Either with an MvP sign above your head, or in your chat bar where you did damage to the dead MvP). The player who kills the hardest MvP out of the others will earn a Gold Medal at the end of the event. Getting help from high leveled players who are not part of this event will NOT count! (But if he is low leveled and not part of the event, it is OK). Every player is eligible for a limited number of kills.
Tips: Golden Thief Bug, Maya, and Phreeoni are usually the easiest MvP's to kill. Go with a party! Search the Sign-Up sheet to find members to team up together.
Quest #5: Level Up!
Difficulty: Medium | Notoriety: 200 | Gold Medal: Easy | Time: Indefinite
Go to the Quest Area and take a screenshot of yourself right now, with your level shown. I want to see you guys kill badarses! If I see you level up, I will reward you!
Lv1-10: Get to Lv50!
Lv11-20: Get to Lv55!
Lv21-30: Get to Lv60!
Lv31-40: Get to Lv65!
Lv41-50: Get to Lv69!
Lv51-60: Get to Lv73!
Lv61-65: Get to Lv80!
Lv66+: Gain 12 Levels!
Lv75+: Gain 9 Levels!
Lv85+: Gain 7 Levels!
Lv93+: Gain 5 Levels!
Post your initial screenshot with your initial level + new screenshot with new level after you reached your goal. If you achieve your goal, you will earn Notoriety!
Optional: If you can post an awesome video of you killing monsters, leveling, owning a bunch of mobs, or showing your daily life (PvP, doing quests, chatting with billions ppl, etc XD) you will earn a Gold Medal!
Mission: Post a screenshot of your old level & new level to earn 200 Notoriety. If you post a nice video (at least 5min+) you will earn a Gold Medal. Every player is eligible for the reward once.
Tips: Fight fight fight~ If you need gears, you can trade in Notoriety for some gear first, and then continue level for more Notoriety!
Quest #6: Making Clothes
Difficulty: Hard | Notoriety: 200 | Gold Medal: Hard (Random) | Time: Indefinite
I need some leather to make clothes for the warriors! Go hunt and bring me 25 Comodo Leather, and you will be rewarded.
Mission: Hunt and turn in 25 Comodo Leather for 175 Notoriety points, with a random chance to earn a Gold Medal. Each player is eligible to do this quest once a day.
Tips: Not sure where to find it or access the area? Check irowiki.org for quest info to access new areas!

*Do note that depending on the number of people doing quests, I will change the numbers for tiers, or round up/down depending on the situation. Tiers only show your title, but the value of what you get is "vague" - remember, I am trying to help on your efficiency, not giving out values.
TIPS
--------------------------
-Do not buy the quest materials from shops and trade them in for Notoriety; it will not be worth your money. Instead, farm for the materials.
-Try to gather as much Notoriety as you can before turning them in. However, if you want a bunch of random equips, you can trade in every time you're in the 700-1199 mark. You can also save all your Notoriety until the very end when the event ends for greater equips!
-Use one character as I will not sum up Notoriety for multiple characters. Use the character that you level with, so I give the correct equip.
-For Healers/Ninjas/Gunslingers classes, I will most likely give armor/shields/accessories rather than weapons.
-For further questions (if you want a live Q&A), go to the Information Center at the Quest Area. When the chatroom shows [Here] instead of [AFK], you may go in to ask for advice on things.
