.. every since I evolved my Amnistir into a Sera last night she's frozen in place after a few kills or casting a buff. She usually stay put and let the mobs smack her for half a minute before she ressumes her actions. o_O
How come? :< am I missing something, or is she bugged? My game client runs flawlessly and I don't lag.

Oh, and I use the latest version of AzzyAI.

This is a game bug, it cannot be fixed via AI.

After being struck at the right (or wrong, from your perspective) time during use of an pre-S skill with no cast time, homun S will hang for like 2-3 seconds. During this time the client does not call the AI, so there's not really any way we can break out of it (I suspect that if we could get the client to send a move packet or something we'd go back to normal).

The duration of the hang seems to be some multiple of attack speed, because it gets shorter as homun levels more. And of course, if you have more flee (which you currently lack, starting from ami base, but will have lots of soon since it's a Sera), it will not get hit as much, and won't trigger the bug as much.

My filir was freezing in its tracks. I switched to Mir AI and it was fixed. :dunno: Of course I won't be able to use that when I change it to Sera.

This is unrelated to the topic of this thread - the freeze bug is only for homun S.

If you have issues with a filir freezing in it's tracks, please contact the developer. If you're using AzzyAI 1.50, please provide more details - all bugs that cause homun to freeze are highest priority for fixing - in the the AzzyAI 1.50 thread http://forums.warppo...rapple-support/

After reading this and other threads about this problem, I have tried to change UseSeraPainkiller, UseDefensiveBuff, UseOffensiveBuff from Idle to Never; however, Sera is still periodically freezing.

 

Is there something else I missed?

Is there something else I missed?

 

First of all, don't bump old threads.

 

Second, if it's the freeze where it's just stuck in an animation, there's nothing to do about that. That's just how Sera is.

I wasn't aware bumping old threads when it's relevant and there is something else to be added to is a faux-pas (someone else in the future might search about this problem and find the fix right here.)  I know people will chew you out if you make a new thread about something that has been discussed before.  Would someone else care to interject?

 

Also, if this is how Sera is supposed to be then why would there be so many suggestions on how to alleviate the problem?

 

I am not asking for a complete fix, I just would like a clarification that I covered all the bases I can cover in order to lessen the freeze.

What kind of "freeze" are you referring to? 

 

If you are referring to homun getting stuck in last frame of flinch animation for several seconds after using instant cast skills while being hit by monsters, that is a  game bug and cannot be fixed by anyone except the developers in korea, who have ignored it for years. 

 

If you are experiencing an AI freeze, where the homun stops doing anything, but the sprite behaves normally (ie, it looks like the homun is just deciding not to move), please make use you are running latest version of AzzyAI, and if the problem does reproduce on latest AzzyAI, send me a trace taken while it's hung:

 

Can you please help out by giving me a trace? 

 

To create a traceai:
1. In RO folder, delete AAIStartH.txt, all AAI_*.log files, and TraceAI.txt 
2. Summon your homun and wait for it to get into the hung state where it's not moving. 
3. Type /traceai. Wait 5-10 seconds. 
4. Type /traceai again
5. zip up TraceAI.txt, AAI_*.log, and AAIStartH.txt from your RO folder, send them to me (upload to your favorite free file hosting site, or pm me for my email address)

dun worry, i rememebr back when i had a homu s, right after evolving, they all freeze once in a while. but as u level them up, and they gain atkspd, they wont freeze anymore. u wont notice it at all when they're around lvl 115

I think most of these guys are not referring to flinched animation delay that all homunculus S experienced. I experienced it occasionally, homun stopped doing anything and letting monsters to kill either homunculus or the master. Usually it happen when it was chasing monster, get hit and stucked there. As if it was unable to move, position lag probably.
