I'm looking at the Spiritual Potion Creation (Variant 3) page on irowiki and I don't see alcohol as a catalyst. Is this an error? or do you get 50 alcohol for free?

Also it seems rather odd that they add 100 alcohol on this recipe when alcohol are primarily used as catalyst for bottles, which are also made during the creation of alcohol, making you overflow with alcohol.

I'm very confused. Someone shed some light on this pls.

The alcohol is created first, so you don't need to have alcohol prepared ahead of time. The alcohol created from the spores and stems will be used to create the bottle grenades.

And yes, you still end up having to do half your bottle and acid potting one at a time.

As long as you have all three books and 200 empty bottles, you can do any combination except "grenades without alcohol."

alcohol, grenade, acid = ok
alcohol, grenade = ok
alcohol, acid = ok
alcohol = ok
acid = ok

grenade, acid = not ok
grenade = not ok
