What is you're opinion for the best use of Kagerou/Oboro for fun in WOE or PvP?

My opinion is that Kagerou/Oboro is a counter disabler to Shadow Chaser and Geneticist.

Most of their skills only work as disabling when a player comes into range if you are in a group of people who are the most likely players to charge in. Shadow Chaser and Hiding Clip Genetic. One of the Kagerou Skills removes hiding status and binds the enemy for 9 seconds. Another one removes Soul Link status from Shadow Chasers while dealing 1750% Damage.

They have 3 skill only for siege maps and some very uniques disables like no Reflets damage.

K/O are most similar to a nerfed/gimped maestro (which is sad because maestro is already a bit nerfed next to other 3rd jobs).

youre forgetting the cast ninja spell skills that can stack on top of each other and inflict status effects every second... stacking K/O classes together in an area would be a formidable defense to bypass... between status effects, AoE attacks and magic spamming as well as their ability to cast all skills from inside Pure Soul state a group of K/O working together would be problematic at least...

pure soul has more effects than healing HP and SP... like 50% chance at magic damage evasion, clearing certain status effects being able to use pure soul while potting, the healing effects still working even while the player is in hiding status... with css and pure soul and flip tatami all being able to be used at the same time theres a chance that NOTHING will be able to hit you... or at the very least being able to pot through alot of things with woe sets....

Don't be silly... the ninja spell status effects aren't too useful for woe =/ They have a few good statuses but the rate those statuses are inflicted are really low (crystalize + deep sleep). Other than that its non-threatening stuff like poison, stone curse, frozen, cold-slower, burning statuses. All of these statuses can be distributed a lot more effectively by other classes.

[Fire Aura] Inflicts Burning status on all enemies in AoE and increases ATK of all targets equipped with Fire-element weapons.

With crystalize out, the skill is pretty much a non-threat, since deep sleep has a low success rate against stats nowadays.

On Sakray I was getting both freeze and crystal on people in pvp using that skill. I was gettings epretty much every effect instant and I know that the effect applies every half second. The AoE lasts 6 seconds for every charm used.

Because linked stalkers with preserve up are immune to dispel like effects generally.

Its not a dispel though It eats the Soul Link to increase the damage by 200%*Soul Link Level. Needs to be tested, but its one of the main reasons I say Kagerou/Oboro are a good counter to Shadow Chaser.

Yes you could, but I would figure Shadow Chasers would take Rapid Throw > Shadow Trampling.

Not if they didn't have the stats to get decent success rate on RT.
