Hello all,

So i'm looking foward to becoming a lord knight and being able to use sprial clash, and i knwo it's based on weight of spear. I believe poleaxe/hunting spear are the heaviest. But my question is does those spears have a custom sprite? Cause it kinda sucks that the best weapons look ugly.

So what weapons would you recommend that has a custom sprite?

Also, i've heard that u can use spiral with a sword, is that true? if so what swords are heavy/have custom sprites?

Clashing Spiral got nerf hard. You're better of using Bowling Bash to level or just meelee clickie until you become a Rune Knight. Back to your question. No they do not have custom sprites.

yup i thought so, i've never seen a clash knight with a sprite spear before. all of their weapons looks like one of those ordinary spears.

yea i know bowling bash Aoe/no ctrl if faster for level, but my knight is mainly for fun and clashing just looks so cool.

But yea what spears are actually heavy and has a custom sprite for spiral?

Try using crescent scythe, it has a custom sprite.

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THIS. are any of the Lord Knight attack spells even worth learning or is it pretty much just the knight skills till 3rd job?

Those passive skills are pretty useful. Spear Dynamo gives +50 hits if I'm not mistaken. Parry is very useful if you're going two handed sword.

yea the passives are dope, but all of the actual attack skills sound weak as hell or about the same as the ones we already have. unless im missing something here, are any of them actually amazing?

The 50 HIT from spear dynamo is pretty amazing as mentioned, as with parry, but if you are talking actual damage skills, all of them are outclassed by RK skills. Which is the way it should, as you should be working toward your ultimate 3rd class skills. Bowling Bash can be chained with Ignition Break though, or is useful if you are only going to get Dragon Breath for AOE as DB is fire only. BB will be good for killing the fire immune/resistant monsters in that case. Or get Brandish Spear instead of BB.

im currently a brandish vit knight. bout to rebirth. are you saying im going to have to level up exactly the same way i did before, just using brandish or bowling the whole time and pierce for single targets? or does pierce get replaced by a lord knight spell. im well aware that the 3rd class spells rock, but theres that 1-99 gap to getting there that i have to deal with =p

also i wanna note, that despite its nice low sp cost, im most likely going to bypass getting brandish this time around due to the fact that its bugged to hell. sometimes it does 0 dmg cuz of bug. i think it might have to do with mob being near objects but im not sure. and also it wont cast sometimes despite me spamming the button. overall its a huge pain in the ass and the -defense debuff during it sucks as well. my friend said it was doing 0 dmg cuz i was missing, but i tested it on thiefbugs and was missing on them too which is literally impossible with my 50 dex. just another in a long list of bugs in this game that will never get fixed

If you think Brandish is a pain to work with, Bowling Bash is just as painful / buggy or maybe even more so. But in terms of AOE leveling, yes LK is the same as Knight. Clashing Spiral is your new big single target attack. However if you are going Ignition Break, do not get Clashing Spiral.

really? whats wrong with bowling? ive never tried it. does it work like magnum break where it just explodes around you, or do you have to actually target click like with brandish. the target clicking is the reason brandish doesnt work right. specially if you have auto attack on. ill have times where my guy locks onto the mob and refuses to cast anything no matter how much i click. in any other video game ever made, youd be able to just press your hotkeys in this situation to auto cast your spell on that mob your locked on, but not this game..... such an easy bug that could be removed, but after this many years they still refuse to fix it. guess i shouldnt complain though. dancers have it way worse. the arrow sling spell is 100% broken. after every 5-10 casts with it, your character freezes in place and has to be moved around to unfreeze lololol

yea i agree, it's due to the /nc that's causing your character to "do nothing".
