Is it viable to be a KS-Kunai Oboro/Kagerou?

KS builds can level with kunai just fine. Actually magic build is harder to lvl

Hi Guys, between procellio card that gives +25 attack -5 def vs cards that gives stone curse/sleep/stun, which one is better for tenebris armor? Would 25 attack makes much difference in swirling petal/ KE damage output? If you could think of any better card pls suggest. (Asides from MvP card of course )
Btw: special ninja suit is hard to socket! 12 suits = 1 success. Prolly just my dumb luck.

elementals for me. I do like having various tenebris and elemental unfrozens if needed. 25 attack is helpful but wont increase your damage that much

noobie question here, do you guys use phen acce or it wouldn't be necessary if you have Lv3 16th night? i'm a Lv100/12 kage, using SP mainly for clearing mobs. sometimes the casting of SP is cancelled because i can't cast it fast enough if i don't equip my phen acce

 

P.S.

i don't have Lv3 16th night yet, because i allotted my job points into Lv5 SP, Lv5 PureSoul, Lv1 earth charm but i might reset skills so that i can invest into 16th night if its more convenient.

if you have enough DEX I don't think it should be a problem. I did a huuma build for a few months before changing into dual dagger throwing, and yeah you'll get mobbed a lot and it'll be hard to cast off swirling petal without 16th night. sometimes, even with 16th night you still cant cast it fast enough, so you might want to think of getting a spellflow shadow set or a Geffen magic robe instead of a phen accessory.

How is SP Kagerou late game ?

 

I'd like to know how good he is at MvP and WoE.

 

And what card do you guys think is better to put in a FAW, I am using Raydric but I still die pretty easy, what keeps me alive is pretty much CSS and Mirror Image.

I was thinking about getting a Menblatt Card for that 10% ranged damage.

Or should I just keep the Raydric and play safer ?

 

I may get a deviling later but that is not an option right now.

usually what kept me alive was pure soul, but then again, i never actually MvP with Swirling Petal as main DPS because Kunai Explosion is a lot stronger since iRO doesnt have level 4 huuma that can match any level 4 daggers iRO has now. SP works inbetween KE cooldown, but again, kunai splash can do what SP does and more.

i used a HBP back then as huuma build. i did MvPing once or twice but it's really tough and cost ineffective imo. then i switched to kunai build. it does gets better but still.

i'll leave WoE answer to others because i simply dont woe

no and no, it just affects autoattack dmg

hi, may i know if agi adds signifcant damage to SP? people here said it doesnt but outdated iro wiki still shows agi as a big factor. i have few stat points right now. if 90 agi can do half the damage of 90dex i'll go for it. otherwise i'll max dex to 120.

As far as I know, AGI does little for SP DPS. As for stats, AGI is most useful to melee/auto attack builds. A little AGI helps here and there, but 90 is pretty high. Due to the level cap for expanded classes, an investment into 120 DEX is also quite heavy; only do that if you have a particular gear or card that gives you extra benefits. 100 in any stat for Kage/Obo is pretty good.

adding a good armor for this kunai build is the rock ridge golden armor ninja , i have enchanted expert archer on this sadly it is not sloted

I'm planning to finishing my Kagerou at Scaraba Hall.

This is my current set up (150/40)

Do you think there is some adjustments to apply to try OHKO Scarabs with SP?

I actually do 52-55K damage with fire converter+eden buff+ninja aura.

Any suggestions? Thx

what lv are you and what is your shadow set ?

 

i think 

in term of Raw damage, Oboro wins due Distorted Crescent skill.

Kagerou is specialized for PvP

 

but it doesnt mean you need to change your class, after all they are same Ninja

and also for Scaraba, try change your headgear with Frog Hat

its cheap, like 1.5m ea, but works for insect monsters.

Thank you. With Frog Hat I can now OHKO Antler Scarab (not always) but not Rake Horn (250 def vs 155 (( )

I will try to get a Kingbird Set.

 

NCT is a *little* hard for me.
