Hey

Well, finally got my Sera to lvl 132 and got the Call of Legion. It does suck a bit......haha, but still quite fun to see all the Ves chopping away at the monsters.

But one thing, I find I have to keep manually recasting Call of legion for the bees to attack the next opponent? Sometimes they'll folllow Sera and attack whoever Sera is attacking, sometimes the Vesper will just stand there and not attack even when Sera is killing??

How do I need to setup my AI so that:

1. it'll keep on following Sera and attack whatever Sera is attacking.
2. it automaticall uses it despite having the Skill class in tactics set as "Any Skill".
3. That it doesn't keep on re-casting call of legion despite the skill haven't finished yet when its setup to use it automatically? (It was recasting call of legion every 5 secs?) - it such a waste of sp.............

Thanks

1. This is not possible, as the bugs are controlled by the game server, and frequently bug. My AI will attempt to detect when the bugs become bugged, and recast it next time it is fighting an applicable monster.
2. "Any skill" is the wrong skill class setting. You must use Minion skill class.
3. It's recasting summon legion because it believes that the bugs are in the hung state where they are refusing to go for new targets. This detection is not perfect.

So that means.............when i set it to use call of legion automatically, my Sera can'tuse Caprice? Cause my sera was just hitting in normally when the Vespa is out.

and also,

Recast if the minmions are bugged???? It was recasting every 5 secs..............so its bugged every 5 secs?.

Due to the issues described above with the bugs going comatose forcing a recast to make the bugs do their job, I don't think using the bugs as a general offensive skill is effective. It wastes too much SP refreshing the bugs. I envision it being most suitable for sending after some target using the SNIPE tactic - your sera sends its minions off to deal with something else while focusing on other monsters.

it's not useful but it looks kind of cool.

i just set mine to kill orc archers in OD2, it eats up sp real fast so it's not worth recasting all the time :(

It's better if you set Needle of Paralize to kill them, it uses a little bit less sp than Call of Legion.
That skill would be good if the mob would keep killing sera's targets.

it's probably intended to kill multiple targets but bugs out. pun not intended. :v

Sometimes the bugs do follow the sera's lead and attack other stuff.... but usually they don't.

It could be, except that's it's disabled in WoE presently due to a critical bug with it - if you used it to break emp, if the bug got the last hit, your guild would get control of the castle, but the emp would not spawn :-/

The GMs have reported up this issue - hopefully this will be fixed.

I think it is.

They didn't list a few disablings of homun skills on the changelog. (Ash should be disabled in ET now, too)

A friend tried to use ash in ET and it's disabled now, another friend attempted to use silent breeze in the summoner instance to no avail, so it's probably safe to assume it's disabled in ET as well.

Those were removed 2 weeks ago I think.

This is a decision which I fully support the GMs on and think should have been taken far earlier.

What I would also like to inquire about Summon Legion is that seeing that Lusciola Vespas are Insect type monsters, Do they detect hidden players in WoE? Are they useful against GX/Stalker GMs?

i tried to use it in pvp and the good thing is once you casted it on the target, it chases it like crazy no matter whether they snap or whatever and disspear from screen, the bees jz follow them.

And once you locked them, its hard for them to hide cause the bees keep on attacking them revealing them straight away.

I have no reason to doubt Alaska since we're both acquainted but can either of you post screenshots/videos of your findings?

Hold on I'll test right now in PVP.

Spoiler

I killed my alchemist to summon the bees, the bees didn't seem to detect the hidden chaser. Couldn't cast it on the chaser either.

I can test again with different settings maybe, but I really don't think it's possible. If it were, every gene would use this homunc for a free maya p lol.
