If you had a budget of 500 mil for equipment / buffs (battle manuals, + food, ect.) what class / build would you select to go from lvl 1-99 then 1-150 and why? Playing on iRO Renewal Choas server.

You're thinking to much about it, was just asking what YOU would do with a 9 empty characters slots and you had to make 1 and had 500 mil, what would it be, what would benefit most from 500mil?

I would spend it on mech equipment since that the class I want to use, but 500m is maybe just enough to buy a good weapon and a headgear only.

Really 500m isn't enough to buy valuable items, maybe, ill spend the zeny on something decent for a Genetic Char

If that doesn't work try buying stuff at low prices then reselling at a higher price.

When I see questions like this, the first thing that pops into my head is a Ranger and it SHOULD be pretty obvious why. Being able to do a lot with so few, earns money like no one's business and the overall Archer appeal that a lot of the player population seems to cling to.

Basically,play the market.I'm really good at doing this for some reason(reason I have avoided spending even $1 on this game since playing) and if your good at it,you can normally get the best price for any particular peace of gear,item,or consumable and resell it for a higher price.Theres always a good deal around in eden or anywhere else for the ,matter,waiting to happen.

If you wanna be a pretty decent ranger or even the best,the cost of gear would be expensive,way more than 500m.
Hmm,thats probably why Wish is the best ranger on the server,because she went all out to get the best gear....anyway

A cheap class that costs barely any zeny to manage or level is bard class all the way through.Mech is also cost efficient,save for the +12 PBs and stuff.
You can even get you a +9 woe set for 500m and still have some money left over if you know how to bargain decently.

Your best bets would be maestro,mech or even SC OP.

Basic gear for a ranger is MUCH cheaper than for most classes.

+9 AS Elven, +9 WW Suit + mant, +4 WW shoes, WW acc (out of money for +9 shoes)... That's under 500m, and then start doing the mora dailies for coins to enchant them with, enchanting the +9 mant with atk type first.

Sure you can spend crazy sums on the luxury weapons, but the char can fulfill it's role with under 500m in gear.

Isn't maestro the cheapest class to gear up? You don't even need to invest on a good weapon, all you need are elemental armors and racial resist shields, variants shoes. Your only purpose on a party is string and survive.

On-topic: Play the market. 500m can buy you quite a lot of stuff and actually if you do the "resale" game like I do (buying and reselling silvervine seems pretty effective especially when buying in bulks), even if you don't play as much, you'll be swimming with zeny. It's still like gambling though, gotta take those risks, no matter how big.
